Kit slithered threw the portrait hole and into the kitchens, pausing to sniff the air slightly. Good, there were only the House Elves in there which would make things less complicated. Drinking the contents of a potions bottle, she set it down carefully on the counter.

The werewolf had just enough time to get what she wanted and get out, or so she hoped. The portrait hole didn't look as though it would fit her if she stayed too long. Never the less, Kit would prefer not to take that risk, or hunt while her cubs were around, well, not until she decided whether or not it would be good for them to know.

Rummaging threw the meat store, the Gryffindor snarled as pain shot threw her rib cage. It was starting. Quickly grabbing the carcass of what looked like a cow, Kit stumbled towards the exit, realising too late that she had taken too long trying to find her cubs a decent meal and that someone was coming. Heightened senses were definitely a perk.

[Alexis Bay]

Urgh Alexis was hungry - very hungry. Food at the Slytherin table was getting even more disgusting by the day. All of the good food went to the Gryffindor table, whilst the Slytherins got the scraps. This weeks gossip column was defiantly going to go behind the scenes and show everyone how the Headmistress favored the house which she had once been in, and how the Slytherins where made to starve.

There was no way that Alexis was going to go without good food. Being a prefect had its disadvantages, but it also had some advantages. Prefects where allowed to ignore the curfews, and wonder around the castle at night, even when they weren't on duty.

Alexis finally came to the bowl of fruit painting. She ticked the pear, and the portrait hole flung open. All of the house elves had left the kitchen, as it was quite late, and they wouldn't be required again until morning. Alexis's eyes caught those of Kitiara Tuck. "Stupid werewolf", grunted Alexis, as she pushed passed the Gryffindor girl, and advanced over to the cupboard which were usually filled with cakes.

Kit snarled, the animalistic sound of the predator within that was forcing it's way out. Glaring at Alexis as she spoke whilst the normally blueish green eyes changed to gold. Bones twisted and reformed, her skull pushed out to form a muzzle, legs mutated to form much more lupine ones while her rib cage expanded. Muscle grew under the quickly sprouting black fur.

Torn clothes lay on the stone beneath her paws as Kit howled. The sound painfully loud in the enclosed space. Stupid werewolf eh? Kit felt an extremely strong temptation to let the little brat think that she hadn't any potion and teach her a lesson, but then, that would be extremely wrong, never the less, she could have a bit of fun. Drawing back her lips, the werewolf snarled, fangs fully bared and fur bristled, the Gryffindor was angry that she couldn't fit threw the portrait hole and get to her cubs, though, Alexis wouldn't know that.

Alexis rummaged through the cupboard, searching for something sweet. She was unaware that behind, Kitiara Tuck was quickly changing into a monster. Alexis eventually found some chocolate covered cupcakes. It seemed that the best cakes where hidden somewhere else, so that only the Gryffindors could find them. She grabbed a few of the cakes, and then turned to face the portrait hole.

In horror Alexis dropped the cakes, and the fell to the stone floor. Where Kitiara Tuck had once stood was a huge muscular werewolf. Alexis quickly tugged her wand from her pocket, and pointed her trembling wand arm at the beast. "Oh sh*t.", mumbled a terrified Alexis Bay.

There was no way that Alexis could escape. The midnight furred werewolf was standing right in front of the portrait hole, and Alexis didn't want to risk getting eaten alive. She was tempted to use an unforgivable curse on the creature, but Alexis didn't want a cell in Azkaban for killing the teachers' pet Kitiara Tuck. This was all the fault of Headmistress Dagner. Werewolves where being locked up in the school, which was putting the lives of innocent students like Alexis at risk.
"Incarcerous!", stuttered Alexis, aiming her wand at Kit, but her arm was trembling so badly the spell simply shot past the shoulder of Kit.

Kit snorted as Alexis shot a very badly aimed spell at her. Growling softly, she turned her head back to the tiny, weak, little human after following the progress of the jet of light almost lazily. Extending her claws, Kit scraped them against the wall, leaving five, deep claw marks in the stone, a look of hatred in the golden eyes that gleamed with revenge, and yet, Kit still hadn't decided whether or not to lash out fully at the Slytherin. The werewolf had been much more affected by the beast lately, whose influence increased greatly when the full moon was risen.

Alexis's eyes followed the sharp extended claws of the werewolf, as they where scraped down the stone wall. Five deep claw marks where printed into the wall. If the beast was able to easily leave markings in a stone wall, then Alexis's body was going to be no problem at all.

"Please leave me alone! I wont write anything about you in the gossip column again!", screamed Alexis. Of course what she said and what she did was two different things. There was no truth in what Alexis said. Werewolves where stupid. There was no way that Kitiara Tuck would understand what Alexis was saying.

The werewolf smirked, Kit flexed her biceps, she crouched slightly, left paw resting on the ground she lifted the other up, furred back to Alexis and middle claw raised, letting her know that Kit knew exactly what was going on. Snickering slightly, Kit padded over to the large hunk of meat that she had been attempting to get out of the kitchen. Tearing a strip of the raw meat off with her claws, Kit lifted it up above her head and lowered it into her jaws, swallowing easily.

[Darren Fletcher]

It was really late, but Darren just couldn't sleep. He was on duty of looking after the castle for the night, and the staff dorm fridge was fresh out of milk. Looking after the castle was a simple job that a few professors did each night. All you had to do was leave your home for the night and sleep in the staff dorms - best of all you got paid for it. Darren knew that the castle wasn't in any danger, as he was a death eater, and he knew that there wasn't anything planned.

Darren made his way up to the portrait of the bowl of fruit, tickled the pear, and then climbed through the portrait hole. Instead of finding a glass of milk, Darren found a fully grown werewolf, which wasn't a pretty site, but this werewolf didn't scare him. Darren knew that his was one of the Hogwarts students, who had taken their wolfsbane potion. A werewolf without the potion would have attempted to rip Alexis apart by now.
"Tut tut Alexis, pets aren't allowed in the kitchens.", Darren smirked pulling his hand through his hair, so that it looked even more messy. Darren liked looking good. "Oooh and a prefect as well. 10 house points from Slytherin for not knowing the rules! ", he yelled, half laughing. Darren liked being evil. As a teacher he had allot of power. Slytherin had been his former house, but he didn't care much for the house cup. Alexis looked terrified. Her orange coloured hair didn't match her pale white face at all.

Kit looked around when the professor came in threw the portrait hole, growling slightly at being called a pet, feeling insulted slightly. Kit certainly didn't belong to Alexis. Snorting slightly in amusement when Alexis got points docked for no reason but still, Kit wasn't sure of this teacher, he seemed odd and slightly twisted, which was never a good thing for Kit and her kind. Tearing off another strip of meat with her claws, she ate that, keeping a weary eye on this newcomer to the kitchens.

Despite being told off by the proffessor, Alexis's eyes remined on the werewolf. She had heard all the stories that went around. Alexis would turn around and then WOOSH, the werewolves jaws would clamp around her neck.
"Yeah whatever!", muttered Alexis to the proffessor, who had just taken house points from her for no reason what so ever. Alexis's eyes quickly flickered down to the meat, which was being ripped apart and devoured by the werewolf. Maybe the creature would be too full up to eat Alexis. Maybe the beef was just starters, and Alexis would be next.
"It's not my pet! If your a teacher why don't you dispose of the wolf?", asked Alexis, as her eyes remained on the beast.

Kit bared her long, sharp fangs. Cold anger present in the Gryffindor's golden eyes. She could snap Alexis's neck even when it wasn't the full moon. And it was a very bad idea to anger something that hated you and could kill you very easily. Flexing her clawed paws so the talon like points caught the low light noticeably. She could quite easily rearrange Alexis's face, she probably wouldn't stop until Kit did. A vengeful glint in her eyes as she growled in warning.

Was Alexis pathetic or was she just playing dumb? She seemed terrified of the werewolf, yet she was able to make snide comments regarding Kit. Darren wasn't sure if Alexis had realized that Kit was under the influence of wolfsbane potion, meaning she understood everything Alexis said.
"I can't kill the creature, because behind all of that fur and muscle is a Hogwarts student. Don't you learn anything in defense against the dark arts Alexis?", Explained Darren in a sarcastic tone of voice.

Inside Darren was starting to get a little concerned, even though he didn't show this emotion. It was apparent that the werewolf's temper was increasing by the moment. Darren was skilled with a wand, but he wasn't confident about fighting off a werewolf.
"You seem to hate werewolves so much in your gossip column, why don't you practice what you preach & kill the creature yourself?", growled Darren. He knew too well that she wouldn't have the guts to fight a strong werewolf on her own. Everything the Slytherin said in her gossip column was a stunt for publicity.

Kit snorted and flicked her tail. They were talking about her like she wasn't even there, not to mention calling her 'creature' all the time. Yeah, that's right, just ignore me because I can't actually say anything you'll understand right now. Flaming typical. She thought to herself Sinking the long claws into the main section of meat and ripped it off angrily. Tearing into it with her fangs and glaring at the Slytherin whilst doing so.

"You must be reading the wrong newspaper, because i have never wrote anything about werewolves in my column!" she lied to the Proffessor. Her evil brown eyes reminaed transfixed on the werewolves. Alexis knew that if she even moved even an eye the werewolf would have her for supper.
"And anyway, isn't it unhygenic to have dogs in Kitchens? If only the foods standards egency could see this now!", growled Alexis. She didn't realise that she was making things worse for herself. Alexis just didn't know what to stop.

"LIAR!" The werewolf snarled, of course, to the humans, it would have simply sounded like a loud snarl. Storming over to Alexis in a flash, Kit had hold of the scrawny humans neck and pinned her to the wall, fangs bared and snarling right in the Slytherin's face. Kit could squeeze and make the morons head pop off right then, but Kit did have a certain amount of self restraint that stopped her. Unhygienic? just see how unhygienic you are when your bloods pouring out onto the floor. The werewolf thought maliciously.
