Leonardo sat staring out at the ripples and waves being formed ont he surface of the water. The sound of the waves on the shore was soothing. Oh the many days he had spent here in his days at Hogwarts doing his homework and studying for tests. Today he was here to meet up with his sister. They lived in the same house, but due to the state of the wizarding world and Leonardo's position to help they hadn't even seen each other. This bothered Leonardo and he was sure it was the same for Bella. The two hadn't seen each other in many months due to Leonardo's trip abroad. He started to whistle a tune as the cold air whipped across his face causing the icy cold water to ripple even more. Leonardo hoped Bella would show soon. He couldn't wait to see her.

Bella stepped onto the grounds a cold blast of air making her freeze in her steps. Shivering slightly from the sudden warmth that had been taken from her to be replaced by cool temperatures she wrapped her cloak around her tighter before slipping on the gloves she'd brought just in case. It had been warm in the Hospital Wing, the place in which she'd just come from, and under her breath she mumbled on about how nice it would be to be back in that room. Then again as Bella thought about why she was fairing the freezing cold temperatures a smile lit her face knowing it was well worth it.
Walking across the grounds past a few hurrying students Bella thought upon who she was supposed to be meeting out by the lake. It had a few months since she'd seen the person in question and after their reunion when she'd returned from France she'd wished that they'd never be parted for long again, but so much wishing did. Shaking her head at these thoughts, green eyes glancing up ahead, she knew now none of that mattered. After all her brother was back and hopefully for good.
Nodding at this last thought, as if to confirm to herself it was the truth, Bella suddenly caught a figure up ahead. Moving closer with each step there was no doubting this figure was her brother, Leon, and a grin lit her beautiful face in long awaited anticipation. Too long, her mind kept announcing over and over again and she couldn't agree more. Not that her last few months hadn't been good, they had. Especially since it had given her a chance to get to know her nephew and sister-in-law a lot better. Though nevertheless no one could break the bond between family members, brothers and sisters at that.
Smiling at the thought Bella continued her walking, getting closer to Leon before she finally spoke. A teasing note to her usual soft and soothing tone of voice. "Leon, why do you always choose the coldest places for our reunions? Do you actually enjoy the idea that we could possibly freeze to death out here?" Trailing off a grin adorned Bella's face as her green eyes locked on her brother whom now sat a foot or two away from her.

Leon continued to wait upon the arrival of his sister. He knew this time of year was always busy with many studens lining up for the wonderful cold curing potions and that there were always the adventure students that always found adventure and injury. He had always thought the job was perfect for her. Besides her natural talents at healing she had always had a heart for others. Not to mention, Leonardo's other intentions of keeping her insight now that a Dark wizard was threatening the world. He would not let her go too far out of sight these days. The precise reason he had mentioned this job to her and offered her a place to live. All included his watchful protection. He knew family would be Morbius' target for playing dirty and although they were all in one place, he was confident that they would be safe for now.
A movement out towards the middle of the lake caught Leon's eye bringing his thoughts back the present. He watched as the tentacles of the giant squid, whose home was the lake, began to break the waters surface and swipe at the birds hunting for themselves. Behind him Leon could hear the chatter of students walking the lawns and the footsteps of someone approaching. These footsteps were familiar. As soon as he heard them a grin appeared upon his face and he waited for some smart comment to let it be known that she had arrived.
Just as he had thought she made a smart comment about his choice to always meet in the coldest of places for reunions. He grinned even more as he stood up and began his remark, "Well I always like to see how much I mean to you. Obviously, I mean more to you than the warmth and comfort of the castle, so we're making progress." He turned to face his sister and smiled. "It's nice to see you. It's been too long, even though it was only a few months." He walked foward and embraced his sister in a warm and loving hug. "I hope you enjoyed the time with Luna, Zak and our parents in America. I know it was bitter sweet with worrying, but still a small vacation and time to get to know your soon-to-be sister inlaw. Oh and how are you?"

As Bella came upon her brother and let off one of her smart remarks, a true gretting from her anyone who knew her well would know. It was completely obvious her brother had been waiting for one by the full out blown grin on his handsome face and she cursed herself briefly for being so....well predictable. Though she knew it wasn't much of an issue with Leon being family and all. He was probably one of very few people to this day who knew her so well and sometimes she was grateful for it while other times she despised it with a passion. Especially when she couldn't hide hardly anything from the man. All Bella knew was that growing up with him had been frustrating once in a while. After all what female would want their brother to know everything about them?
Laughing lightly at her thoughts Bella returned to reality as Leon stood from his sitting position near the lake and began to speak with his own, more than likely, smart remark. Hearing his comments about him meaning much more than the welcoming warmth and comfort of inside the castle she snorted softly before rolling her eyes playfully. If only he knew my earlier thoughts, she mused as a light smirk adorned her features briefly. After all if she remembered correctly Bella was certain she actually had been tempting the thought of heading inside and calling her brother in, but even so she knew if she were to announce this to her oh so big brother he would contradict her with the words 'you still came though right?' which was in all honesty the truth.
"Your just lucky I think so highly of you brother. Don't get overly confident there," Bella teased good naturedly before closing her mouth an almost mocking smile appearing on her face as she listened to Leon go on. Her smile widened as he announced it was nice to see her and she willingly embraced him as he did her for a loving hug. Bella even went ahead and tightened her hold for a couple of seconds, almost as if she were afraid to let go because he'd slip from her grasp once more, though obviously knowing this wouldn't be the truth for the present she loosened her grip and stepped away out of his arms all along listening to him speak.
"I hope you enjoyed the time with Luna, Zak and our parents in America. I know it was bitter sweet with worrying, but still a small vacation and time to get to know your soon-to-be sister in law. Oh and how are you?"
At the end of Leon's rambling Bella let out a laugh as she noticed he'd added in the question of how she was as if in after thought. Raising an eyebrow his way she thought on her answer for a moment. Of course she'd had an amazing time. Personally she couldn't see how wouldn't have. It had given her time, even with the bittersweet worry as Leon had put it, to spend time with her whole family. Something in which she hadn't been able to do quite yet. Yes, of course she'd visited with her parents before, but now with Luna and Zak in the family it was different. A good different though of course. Thinking on how much fun she had Bella couldn't help but believe that was exactly something Leon needed, though whether he could agree upon it or not she wasn't sure. Nevertheless she was going to bring it up, maybe with her stubbornness she could get him to agree on the idea. If not she would try harder.
Grinning at her thoughts Bella finally spoke up her green eyes locking onto her brother's face. "I did enjoy my time with the whole family. I'm surprised you could even think I didn't. It was a very good vacation and one I know I needed. Mum and Dad are the same as usual and Luna and Zak are amazing. I love the both of them dearly already. Not a surprise there." Pausing for a moment Bella let off a grin before going on to answer his question. "I am well though, glad to be back. After all you know healing's a big part of my life and I hate being parted from doing what I love. So really every thing's fine so no need to worry Leon. Now how about yourself? How are you fairing? By the way, I think you need a little vacation of your own with the family, it would do you some good. Or at least with Luna and Zak." Nodding at her words she trailed off only to lock gazes with her brother an almost pleading look to her green orbs as she hoped he'd agree to the idea or some part of it.
OOC: I hope you didn't mind this length, lol. If you want me to shorten just let me know and I'll try!
