This had all been planned perfectly. The Professors and staff would all be in the tower which was furthest away from the kitchens. It was Christmas time and everyone loved having a bit of fun at this time of the year, especially Frank. He had a lot of energy, and felt it was time for a festive food fight.
Owls had been sent to all of the students in the school inviting them to the kitchens at this time.Thankfully no teachers had found out yet and everyone seemed ready for some Christmassy fun.
Frank had prepared hours before. Food including tomatoes, apples and meat were all scattered all over the huge kitchen. Now all the Gryffindor boy had to do was wait for people to arrive.

Edward ran down the stairs until he came to the picture of the fruit bowl. Everyone at Hogwarts knew how to get into the kitchens by at least their second year. It was easy. You just had to tickle the pear and the portrait would fling open.
Once the portrait hole was open Edward made his way through it. He had been in the kitchen many times before for midnight snacks, but when he had been here there hadn't been food scattered everywhere.
In the pocket of Edward's robes was a folded up piece of paper - the invataion. "Ready for a food fight?" he asked Frank, showing him the invatation. Edward was dressed in an incredibly old pair of robes. There were many holes in the robes, and they were very short. He hated dressing in his fifth year robes, but he didn't want to get any of his other clothes dirty.

The portrait hole flung open. Frank smirked. At least one of the many Hogwarts students had made the effort to turn up and have a little fun at Christmas. A food fight was much better than the annual Christmas Ball which the Headmistress put on. Dances were girly, but food fights were boyish.
"Oh I'm ready!" he grinned, as he picked up a carrot and flung it at Edward with all his force. "But i don't think you are!" he spoke, watching the carrot fly through the air.

If Ana or Mia were still here, they'd have been screaming at Koti, and would have probably only stopped over a toilet bowl. But since they weren't around anymore- or at least, they'd been gone for about 10 or 20 years, she was free. For now. She couldn't help but be surprised when she'd seen the invite, it wasn't for an award ceremony, it wasn't for a beauty pageant, or the opening of a store or anything glamorous. It was for a food fight.
That didn't stop her from looking fabulous though, of course she owned the dungeons. Of course she owned the kitchen from the moment the painting swung open. It was a shock to any witless human that the walls didn't lean in to get a better look at her. She was prepared though. In Koti's hand, was a paper plate of mushy pea's. An evil, and playful smirk lay her eyes upon Tre. "Oh honey, it's such a shame really. Such a pretty face. I almost don't want to ruin it with mash." And with that, she threw the load.

Frank was so occupied by the carrot that he hadn't noticed the plate of mushy peas that had been thrown at him by a new person. Eeek wearing his best white teeshirt hadn't exactly been the best idea. His usually spiked hair had now been flattened by the gungy substance. Oh well it was all part of the fun!
He picked up a plate of spaghetti bolognas and mushed it into Koti's hair. HA! The girly girl wouldn't like that. Hopefully she would come back with something worse, and liven up the food fight.

Food fight! Jose's eyes glistened as an invitation fell into his hands. Yeah his owl was slow at getting things sometimes, and post was always late at Christmas, so he couldn't complain. It wasn't the fun that attracted Jose to this fight. He was more interested in the violence aspect. Maybe he would be able to whack a few students with some rotten tomatoes.
The portrait hole was already open. Jose excitedly squeezed his way through. He was greeted with the Hogwarts kitchens. The place was pretty huge - nothing like the kitchen his mother would cook in back at home. She would always complain about lack of space. There was food piled everywhere. It was always heaven for someone who needed a midnight snack.
A evil smile popped up onto the face of Jose. He snatched a bag of flour, ripped it open and then threw it at the nearest person. "Weeeeeeeeeee!" he screamed, as some of the flour landed in his dark brown hair.
