As the train came to a halt, the two siblings hopped out, both slim in body and pale in skin. A girl and a boy. It was plain to see that they were closely related. Their features were strong and alike. The boy, Gerard, only wondered what the future year would hold in store for him. Whilst the female, Georgia, was already planning their domination of the Hogwarts inner social status. Though that wasn’t going to be hard, most of their peers on the train didn’t even need to be told who they were. Their sharp, stunning eyes glittered in the mask of the night, whilst their white skin stood out amongst the students. Gerard and Georgia were from the Bryant family, who were unintentionally well known throughout the wizarding world by now. Some fools even described the Bryants’ as ‘being like the mafia’. And it didn’t take an idiot to realise what they were either. They didn’t eat. They weren’t seen out in the sunlight. They had concealed sharp fangs. So it was clear to Hogwarts that they were vampires.
Gerard didn’t want the surname to affect the two before they’d even been sorted. But Georgia saw it as a major help. Though they were young, and despite the fact that their aging process was greatly slowed down, they both looked more matured than simple first years. Gerard had a strong set of muscles and was at a desirable height. Georgia was slim, but highly developed in certain area’s, with flawless skin and was brushed with her make up. Rouged lips and blackened eyes. She’d even forced some eyeliner on her twin brother on the train journey up.
As they were led into the castle, Gerard picked up on the whispers. Asking what each other had gotten up to in the summer holidays, which house their parents had been in and all sorts of innocent conversations. Though he heard some irritating things as well. Of course he and his sister were going to be the topic of discussions. How could he have thought for a second that maybe he would fit in. Georgia heard these too- her reaction was less relaxed than her twins. She growled through her sharp fangs quietly, only calmed down by the shake of Gerard’s head.
Finally, they were led into the great hall- enchanted sky and floating candles that flickered in the atmosphere. The older students studied the twins, inspecting like a hawk. They probably knew more about the Bryant family than the first years, and nearly all of them recognised the vampire qualities that they held at an instant. But they both ignored the stares. Their mum had asked of them to try and keep the fights down for at least the first day.
So they sighed and waited as the professor read names from a scroll, until eventually; “Bryant, Gerard” Hearing his name called, the black haired boy stepped forward and gracefully sat on the stool, where the ragged hat was placed on his head. The cloth frowned. “Hmmm… A Bryant. I remember your father clearly. Loyal and brave chap. A true Gryffindor. And then… Your mother. Well, moving on. You are loyal, Gryffindor too maybe? But then you think things through. Ravenclaw? Although. I know exactly where you belong… ” Georgia watched as her brother waited in patience. She wondered when the damned hat would just get it over and done with. “SLYTHERIN!!” A happy uproar emitted from the Slytherin table, the son of Billie Joe and Leo Bryant was to join their family.
“Bryant, Georgia” The hall went silent again, Gerard only hoped that his sister wouldn’t get stressy with the hat. Strutting forward, Georgia made her way to the stool and sat down. The hat was placed on her. “What have we here? Another Bryant. Only a minute and a half separated you and you brothers birth. My, you resemble your mother, though a fuse shorter than she started out with. Disregarding your sibling, I know exactly where you belong. No doubt about it.” Georgia growled. She wanted him to just get on with it. “SLYTHERIN!!” The girl grinned, and the cheer was louder than previous. Both twins were together in the purest house of all. Their mother was going to be so pleased. She sat next to Gerard and embraced him. Hogwarts needed to get ready, the Bryant twins had arrived. And come next year, Azure would be joining them.

Chapter two;; In all fairness, Gerard and Georgia Bryant had worked hard at keeping themselves at bay. Especially the feistier of the two, the female. She had found herself getting thoroughly irritated with those around her that weren’t sharing the purest of house with her. Those Ravenclaws. They looked down on others because of their ‘superior’ intelligence. Well, understanding literature and numbers wasn’t going to save them down a dark alley with a savage creature; was it? And the Gryffindors. They thought so high of themselves; because society today looked up to them, they were the bravest. The loyalist. More like the biggest cheats. The weakest. A match between a lion and a snake can be looked at both ways; the beast could slice the serpent in two, but should the snake have bitten the lion at anytime in the match. And, well, it wouldn’t be long until that feline lies down, worn and tired as poison courses it’s veins. Dying, slowly and painfully.
Sure, her aunt Renne had been a Ravenclaw, and though her father was an infamous Gryffindor. They both possessed Slytherin qualities. And of course. The mother. She’d been a proud Slytherin, breaking from her families different ways. Gerard wasn’t too into the houses and what they represented; all were equal though he held Slytherin highest to his heart. So they got to know their fellow Slytherins at their first meal in the Great Hall. Though. That very statement bares misleading allegations. The two didn’t eat, their bodies didn’t bode well with food. The naïve ones pinned it down to an eating disorder; of course.
After that was finished, they were led into the dungeons, both fascinated by the thick, dark grey, stone walls and ground. Lit only by medieval torches at the side; held in by steel handles. The group passed a grand painting, simply of fruit. Whilst some wondered why put such a happy and grand painting in such a bleak part of the castle; Gerard instantly knew what it was. And then they came to their destination.
Soon enough, they were greeted by a fire and cold, black, sofa’s. Which was vacant for not long. The other first years were rushing around, looking at all the decorations and pieces of art. The twins sat with each other, time passed so quickly to them. Come nightfall, they were still in the common room- everyone else asleep. “We need to set a standard.” Gerard said calmly. “Why?” His sister inquired, “Because Azure’s coming next year. And by then. Everyone will know that he’s stronger than us. But lets be honest; he’s a freakin’ angel compared to us. Joy never shuts up about it- be happy Billie locked her up in a home.” Gerard never called Billie ‘mum’. And she didn’t mind. Georgia nodded, her brother had a point. She’d read the minds of some of the teachers when in the hall. And she didn’t like the thoughts of some of them. Especially a certain male. She growled, “You heard what that Lawrence person thinks of us. Leeches, he called us. He called you a vile figure of filth. He called me the devils wh*r*. We can’t just let him think that’s okay. What do you propose we do?” Gerard had already planned it all. He thought of the future. “Well. Until Azure comes to this school. We’ll just play it low. Mentally torture him. Until the school thinks he’s hysterical. Then. This time next year. We’ll give our brother a little warning; there’s no way the rest of the school will think he’s a perfect angel. When he’s related to the perfect devils.” He smirked, Georgia nodded along. Her eyes laced with spite and malice. When the clock struck midnight, they got up in unison. They felt like hunting. And though they’d promised not to do anything for at least the first day; technically, it was their second day upon arrival at Hogwarts. And they were thirsty. Whether they quenched it on a stag or a human was up to fate. Whatever was out there. Was going to be their welcoming meal.

Chapter three;; With quenched hearts and quenched throats. The two siblings smirked in self satisfaction. Two stags were easy to catch. And were filling. For now that was. Fate had been lucky to the students of the castle; there were no wandering strays amongst Gerard and Georgia’s hunting path. Returning back to the common room, undetected. The both of them inhaled the mixtures of aroma’s. A lot of humans, of course. But a few werewolves. Shame. Georgia was beginning to like the atmosphere. Luckily, the mongrel wasn’t around in the dungeons and therefore didn’t belong in Slytherin; they would have known sooner otherwise.
Gerard and Georgia were closer than the average brother and sister. They were closer than the average set of twins for that matter. Undeniably though, they had their disagreements. But they were exceptionally bonded. Their minds worked in almost unison. They struck the same thoughts as each other in synchronisation frequently, it was odd when they didn’t. When one was asked a question. The other could usually answer without hesitation. It meant they were each others perfect alibi.
As morning drew silently, they each went their separate ways, in order to change their clothing in their dormitories. Gerard appeared back in the filling common room before his sister. Already, he had a pair of designer sunglasses at the ready; Aunt Alice had insisted she bought them. They were ridiculously expensive. Even by his standards. Eventually, the older of the two emerged. Although infatuating in beauty, she still insisted on applying the subtle paints to her face. The black lipstick did give her an excuse to not eat. She had a more effeminate version of Gerard’s sunglasses, another ridiculous price. Her family liked to splurge.
Mirroring each others smirks, they made their way to their first lesson; Georgia’s morning preparations had already taken up the slot allocated for breakfast. Potions passed smoothly, Georgia was a natural at the practical, whilst Gerard excelled in the academic part. They skipped Transfiguration; the both of them didn’t fancy learning how to turn a chameleon into a carrot. Perhaps Transfiguration would be lucky enough to be graced with their presence next time. Then, came Herbology. The both of them watched as, coincidentally, the weather started to cloud over and darken. A stroke of pure luck.
Both twins sneered as they entered the greenhouses. Professor Lawrence gave them a glare for about half a second before settling down. Now, what was being taught would have been hard to report for Georgia: she was just giving the teacher looks that were paranoia-worthy. As was Gerard. Though, he was able to answer every question thrown at him. And because of said mind bond. Georgia was able to answer the questions too. Though, Gerard was actually whispering the answers in a voice too low for that of a human’s ear.
As they left, Georgia heard a small comment made by the filth, and turned around violently. Only held back by her brother. She did, however, let out a menacing hiss. “Say that to my face.” She dared, hatred flickering in her eyes. But before the professor could act, Gerard had dragged her well away from the glass sheds, reminding her of their mothers wishes.
The free period given, was spent in the great hall. Gerard was inspecting a parcel from his Aunt Alice. What had she purchased now? What was so desperate to be sent to him, but two days upon arrival in Hogwarts? Guyliner and a leather jacket apparently. Georgia had also gotten a parcel from Alice too; she loved to buy things. The young female vampire sometimes wondered how the family could afford such lavish things at such ludicrous price tags. But with the new dress and this seasons make up colours? She didn’t really care. Aunt Alice was amazing. All of her Aunts and Uncles were amazing. In general, the whole family was great. Apart from their godfather. Billie had told the twins about him, he wasn’t amazing. He was evil.
