Jasmine slowly opened the door to the girls bathroom and locked herself into a cubicle. Despite being at Hogwarts and everything, she still somehow felt lonely. It was as if she wasn't quite accepted at the school, because of her background and the war and everything. Her parents used to be Death Eaters, and Jasmine knew that it had something to do with it.
She reflected on her life before attending Hogwarts and that it had not been a happy childhood for her. She thought about how her parents stayed at home all the time, and whenever they tried to go out and walk on the streets like a normal family, they used to get funny stares and people used to point them out and sn*gger, while trying to stay as far away from them as possible. Jasmine only found out the reason why, on her eleventh birthday, before she had attended Hogwarts.
But then, why should she be punished for something that had happened before she was born? Jasmine sighed again. She wanted some time alone, time to just reflect on her life so far, and making friends, and that sort of stuff.
Jasmine noticed Moaning Myrtle coming towards the cubicle was in, and she motioned for the ghost to go away for the meantime. She didn't feel like having the interference of a ghost, no not right now...

Gabrielle was passing by the girls bathroom when she heard a girl who seemed to be whimpering and quite upset about something. At first, she thought of Moaning Myrtle, but then, again, the sounds sounded different to what she heard from the ghost the previous time. She felt that it was an actual girl inside there, and she wanted to check it out. Perhaps she could help comfort the girl and console her, if she was having some sort of problems with her life, and that sort of thing.
Surely, Gabrielle thought, nothing could be as bad as the mistake that she had made when she was nine years old, and she had to now live with that for the rest of her life... Gabrielle thought back to the incident, which she had still remembered clearly. It had wanted to take her captive and actually kiil her, but she had managed to escape before then. Trust her for not listening to her parents, when she was at that naive age!
Gabrielle then shoved her thoughts to the back of her head. No, she was not going to think about these any longer, she told herself. Just get on with her life.
But her curiosity getting the better of her, Gabrielle decided to knock on the locked toilet cubicle and see what was wrong with the girl inside...
