Everything at Hogwarts was beginning to feel like a cloud of tension decided to make it's home right on the grounds. For a while now, Ritsuka had been feeling a bit odd around school and didn't really know why. People looked more secretive and not as social as they used to. Don't get her wrong, she doesn't mind the anti-socialness but the fact that things are changing is what bothers her.
Earlier today she found a message written in blood in the common room. Of course it was blood, she smelled it from upstairs and it blatantly said it was blood. She didn't feel intimidated at all, just brushed it off as a tasteless threat. Not until she walked outside into the halls to find them empty did she feel chills.
That's why she decided to head out to the lake, to get away from enclosed spaces and out in the open. Ritsuka had always wanted change in this place, for something exciting to happen and whatnot, but when change started to take effect she wanted things to go back to their usual boring, black and white set.
Hopping up on a rock by a tree, she sat cross legged and stared at the lake as it rippled from the wind. The wind gently brushed her face as she clicked her nails in thought.

Toki walked along the very edge of the lake with a smile on his face. He was completely oblivious to anything going on in Hogwarts. He felt a small chill on his spine as caught the faint smell of blood in the air. "Where is that smell coming from," Toki said to himself as he looked around.
After a sort while of looking he simply ignored it thinking it was his imagination. Toki then continued to walk along the lake and caught a glimpses of someone on a rock out of the corner of his eye. He then turned towards athe rock and waved at the person sitting on the rock.

As Ritsuka stared out onto the lake, an unfamiliar scent drifted by her nose. Hmm...? Turning her head slightly, she saw a boy walking along the edge of the lake. It was a good sign that the sight of him didn't want to make Ritsuka get up and leave.
She saw him wave at her, or at least in her direction, so she tilted her head up quickly to acknowledge his, 'hello.' Staring blankly at the strangers face, she took in every detail so she'd remember this figure in later days. It was just something she did, not caring whether or not the person being stared at was feeling uncomfortable or not.
Her ears twitched on her head a bit as the sound of grass beneath his feet. Smiling in an almost ominous manner, she spoke, "What brings you here on such a dark, depressing day?" If anyone were to look around, it was sunny and rather 'happy' but to Ritsuka, anyday with the sun was a dark, depressing day. She chuckled a bit as she finished her sentence.

"Who would not be out on such a dark and depressing day they are normally the best days around," Toki responded back to Ritsuka. He then smiled and laughed to himself about something completely random. He then walked toward the rock where she was sitting to get a better look at her.
"So, what do the people around here call you? Also, do you smell a faint scent of blood in the air," Toki asked with a smile on his face. He then sat down on the grass next to the rock to get more comfortable.

Ritsuka raised her eyebrow at the boy's sarcasm and smirked. She was already beginning to like him. The way he looked and dressed was an immediate 5 points on her friend meter and the fact that his senses were keen enough to smell blood made her feel a bit more at ease. Though, still him approaching her made her shift a bit away but not enough to notice.
"So, what do the people around here call you? Also, do you smell a faint scent of blood in the air?" he asked, smiling.
She looked at the stranger for a good 5 seconds before replying, "People don't usually call me anything since I don't talk to anyone," she scoffed in a 'typical' way. Her eyes were brought up to the sky, frowning a bit that no clouds were to be seen. "The name's Ritsuka. You are?"

Toki smirked a little at her response to his question. "My name is Toki," he said as he lay down in the grass and relaxed a little more. He found this girl named Ritsuka to be very interesting and also very funny in her own way.
Toki let out a happy sigh as he looked at the cloudless sky. It was a wonderful day not to bright but not to dark just the perfect amount of sun. "By the way you still did not answer my question, do you smell the scent of blood in the air or is it only in my mind," he said.

"My name is Toki." She heard the boy lay down on the grass beside her. Ritsuka, being some sort of a creeper, has usually seen everyone in school by now just by walking around all the time. Toki, however, is a new face to her. "By the way you still did not answer my question, do you smell the scent of blood in the air or is it only in my mind?"
That's right, he asked her that as well. Ritsuka blanked out after she asked for his name. Her left ear pulled back as to let Toki know that she was listening while her right ear stayed facing the lake. "Hm, it's not your mind. Someone with no life decided to leave a threatening notice in the Slytherin Common Room, and to add dramatic effect, used blood. I probably brought the scent out here since I stared at it for quite some time," she laughed, "'Cause no matter what, blood is always beautiful to look at, threat letter or not."
During this whole conversation, Ritsuka hadn't made eye contact once. She hoped that the boy didn't mind this, since others get very butthurt if no eye contact is kept while talking. Honestly, she didn't understand how some can make eye contact, nonetheless KEEP eye contact. Isn't it rude to stare? People need to make up their mind. Ritsuka stifled a laugh to herself after she just had a little rant in her head. She did that a lot, laughing at nothing, but hey it's alright. Quirkiness is something she was known for.
[OOC: That's rather annoying. Why doesn't the BOLD code not work? FAT!]

[OOC: Maybe it's because I used the type writer text? That doesn't really make sense either... since I always use that text in my RP's and it's never failed before. Lol.
BOLD! BOLD? Fail. Why does it work only on the regular font? Dx]
