Sarah was missing her childhood. The many times her and her family would go to fairs and theme parks. The sudden sadness made her want cotton candy. "I'm sure they will have cotton candy here." She said smiling and walked to the kitchens. Calling over a house elf she promptly asked if she could have a bowl of cotton candy and the elf accepted almost too readily. She waved it good bye and had a seat at one of the tables in the corner. She started to read a book that she had brought with her to pass time.

Oh man I REALLY want some salad or something! Kazuo had a long day of classes and was finally feeling the effect of not eating breakfast. It hadn't REALLY been a long day of classes, it just felt like it to Kazuo. Walking rather slow for his hunger, he entered the kitchens and house elves immediately ran to his feet.
Can we get you anything, sir?
Smiling, Kazuo replied calmly, Yes, can I have a garden salad? Just have the dressing on the side, please. The elves chattered with a strange excitement and ran off to fufill his wish. Glancing over to a table in the corner he saw a Ravenclaw girl sitting by herself. Walking over, he took a seat next to her. Might as well have company while I'm here.. He said nothing to her and kept his head down staring at the wood that made the table.

The dark haired boy sat in a seat across from Sarah, and she looked at her hands. She felt awkward. Her blonde hair fell over her face, it smelled of roses, and she wondered why the house elves hadn't brought her her cotton candy yet. It's not that hard to make, is it? Sarah looked up to look at the boy and saw that he was rather attractive. She had a thing with ethnic boys. But, she noticed he was a Slytherin. Putting her head back down immediately, she chipped off her nail polish on her thumb. Remember what happened last time Sarah, that stupid Tyiro kid stuck you to a tree. At the thought of Tyiro, she chipped her nail polish off a bit violently that time and pushed her cuticle back. "OW!" Sarah helped grabbing her thumb tightly to get the pain to go away. She realized that this probably caught the attention of the Slytherin boy.. Ehhhhhhhh.

His eyes tracing the grain of the table, he ignored the fact that the girl had been staring at him for quite some time. Are people that stupid? Do they not realize I'm 2 feet in front of them..? Stop staring! He started to dig his nail into a carving on the table that read 'I <3 Neville'. Scoffing a bit and wrote 'NOT!' right next to the name. Then an outburst of a high pitched tone filled his ears and he cringed having felt his heart explode. Glancing over he saw that the girl had hurt her finger. He gave her a cold look and continued carving into the table. Where is my salad.. The house elves always seemed to make simple tasks such as making food take forever.

She looked into the boys eyes as he stared back at her. A shiver went down her back from the glare and brought her eyes back to her nail. It was red at the base and she sighed. "Here's your cotton candy, madam. We weren't sure what flavor you wanted.. so we made 4 kinds." A small house elf squeaked, smiling widely and set the plate down in font of Sarah. Who puts cotton candy on a plate? She laughed and bid the elf goodbye. Quietly, she picked at the different colors of cotton. Red.. yellow.. blue.. green.. Tasting each she smiled, content. Scooting the plate a bit towards the boy she asked shyly, "Do you want any? I've got plenty.." She didn't make eye contact, but stared at his lips instead.

Kazuo's glowed a bit as he saw the doors of the kitchens open hoping it was his food, but then noticed it was not. He hung his head and sighed. He found it a bit strange that the cotton candy was served on a plate. About to get up and figure out why his meal was taking years, the girl beside him offered him some of her food. Eying it carefully, he looked up at the girl who wasn't making eye contact. He saw that she was staring at his mouth and he twitched the corner of his lip. Leaning over a bit, My eyes are up here, ma'am. He tapped the corner of his eyes with both his hands and stared at the girl blankly. And no, I don't want any. Thanks for asking, I suppose. He sat back in his chair and kicked his feet up on the table top. Tilting his head all the way back, he closed his eyes and sighed again.

She blushed brightly realizing she had been staring at his lips. She didn't have anything in mind, she just didn't like making eye contact. "Oh.. okay.." She withdrew back in her seat and watched the Slytherin boy prop his feet up on the table. Well that's rude. She coughed a bit to get his attention. "Um, people eat on these tables. Can you put your feet down?"

Kazuo's glare whipped over to the girl and he stared right into her eyes. He searched her face, and then looked back at his feet. Crossing them over eachother he scoffed. Those people don't concern me. So I. Don't care. He replied nonchalantly. Getting more comfortable in his seat he sighed. Can't you go eat your cotton candy somewhere else? He said a bit harshly.

Citrine shoved her body through the door, arms lazily swooshing back and forth, eyes rolling with annoyance. She didn't even acknowledge the girl, just strolled past her, chin up. "Sarah, you really shouldn't be showing yourself in public. You remember what happened last time." Citrine smirked as she approached a counter toward the other side of the room. A house elf that had been wandering around scurried toward her, an eager look on his face. "Hey, little one," she said somewhat cruelly. "Put those hands to good use and get me some watermelon, would ya?" She turned before thanking the elf and walked toward Kazuo. She smiled at him, almost as if she were humored by something, and took a seat beside him.
She felt comfortable in her loose black khaki pants, and long sleeved black Kashmir turtleneck. It was so soft, she loved the snug feeling against her skin. The sleeves were pulled halfway over her hands pale hands as she pulled her knees to her chest, her red hair lazily tied up. She looked as she always did, just slightly warmer.
Citrine smiled up at Kazuo and breathlessly said, "Looks like Ritsuka and I are rubbing off on you." She had heard the annoyance in his tone as he spoke to the dumb blonde. "I'm so... so proud." Citrine pretended to be dabbing the corners of her eyes. She then jumped up quickly and stalked toward the girl. Reaching forward, she tugged a bit at the blue cotton candy. She smirked a bit and turned around, walking back to sit next to Kazuo, slowly nibbling at the puffed sugar.

Citrine sauntered into the kitchen and Kazuo wondered what incident had happened previously with Sarah. He didn't really care about her, he was just curious. He laughed as Citrine pretended to dab tears off her eyes and watched as she invited herself to Sarah's cotton candy. Eh, why not. He shrugged and pulled a bit of the fluff off as well. Letting it melt on his tongue he smiled. He put his feet back on the ground and leaned on the table. I've been waiting forever and the house elves still haven't brought me my salad. He grumbled.

The other girl from the lawns entered the room with her stupid attitude and everything. Someone really needed to slap her in the face with reality, the world doesn't care how badass she thought she was. Ignoring the comment about her being in public and stewed in her corner while eating her food. She started talking to the dark haired boy when she suddenly reached over and took some of her cotton candy. She stared at the girl with disbelief on her face. And right after that, the boy had done the same. What the hell!? Pulling the plate closer to herself, "Why don't you just go get your own? I offered you some already and you didn't accept it." she looked at the boy. "And as for you," She pointed her polish chipped finger at the red head, "Just because your in Slytherin doesnt mean you can just boss everybody around."

Citrine smiled as the girl tried to show some balls. She would have been mildly impressed, had the blonde not been so stupid looking. Something about Slytherin? Being bossy?
"Hey, I don't believe I ever ordered anyone to do anything. In order to do that, I have to give a crap." Citrine stood up and smiled at the house elf now bringing out two bowls: one with a cold salad, and one with cold watermelon, both looking tremendously delicious. She handed the salad to Kazuo and crossed her legs with the red fruit before her. "Oh, and of course it's because I'm in Slytherin. It's not because I'm bitter or want to rip out your throat or anything." Citrine rolled her eyes. Dumbass.
She spat a black seed in the general direction of the girl before her, missing her thin legs by an inch.

Sarah narrowed her eyes at the girl across from her. Well obviously you care enough to open your big mouth.. She thought angrily and poked at her candy. She watched house elves come out of the kitchens and had salad and watermelon on plates. Sarah felt her insides tighten in annoyance having to see this girls eyes roll. If I see her roll her eyes again... I swear. She started to frown and before she knew it, the girl was spitting watermelon seeds at her! "Hey!" She yelled. "You don't have to pick on me. I didn't do anything to you!" Her temper was rising.

Kazuo sat in his chair, eyes darting back and forth between the two girls. Tension hung around Sarah's figure while Citrine just seemed kind of whatever about it. It's times like this when I wish I had ordered popcorn. He ate his salad and watched some more. He chuckled a bit, This is better than the movies. Leaning back and placing the salad in his lap, he awaited Citrine's cunning come back.

Citrine felt the sneer sneaking across her face. Kazuo was surely enjoying himself, she could see. It was quite satisfying. She had a few options. She could completely ignore this girl, as well as the current confrontation. She could continue teasing, surely to bring lots of entertainment for both she and Kazuo. Or she could apolo-...wait, that wasn't an option. Citrine wasn't the type of girl to weigh her options, though. Things just kind of came to her. Ha ha, I said came.
"Look, Ravenclaw, don't flatter yourself. I don't come looking for you; you just happen to be in my way all." Spit. "the." Spit. "time." Spit. Citrine then sighed and said, annoyed, "Don't worry, I'm missing you on purpose. If I wanted a direct hit, I'd have one." Citrine pictured herself jumping now, attacking. It wouldn't happen. She wasn't that kind of vampire. She was polite.
"Just shutup and stay out of my way, and you'll find yourself suddenly out of things to whine about."
