Midnight lay on her back, staring blankly at the roof of the repaired cage. It was clear that she wasn't getting out. Revenge had been denied, the one thing she wanted most of all, taken away.
Refusing to eat, move, talk or even look at anyone, Midnight just lay there. Eyes glazed over and slowly growing to resemble a skeleton more and more. Rarely even shifting position. The slight movement of her chest whilst breathing and the occasional flutter of her eye lids when she blinked were the only indications that the werewolf was even still alive.

That b*tch! Whatever Kitiara Tuck had done to Billie, she was going to pay for every single moment of it. Billie had once trusted Kit, and the animal payed her back by trying to kill her. What a great friend she was.
Chris hadn't move from Billie's side since the attack. She had been slipping in and out of consciousness. Nurse Joy said the nightmares and scars would be the only lasting pain, but apart from that Billie would be fine within a few weeks.
Wearing his Slytherin school uniform and robes, Chris made his way into the defense against the dark arts classroom, where the monster was being kept. In his trembling hand, Chris held his wand tightly.
Without saying anything he approached the metal cage. The site of Kit made his blood boil. Ugh, why did the Headmistress allow mad people inside Hogwarts? The only place for this creature was the loony bin. "Sectumsempra", hissed Chris furiously, pointing his wand just inside the cage. Kit being in a cage meant that there wasn't much chance of Chris's spell missing.

Midnight didn't need to look around to see who had come in, their scent gave them away along with the all too familiar scent of fear. No taunts? No yelling? That was a surprise. Chris instead just cursed her, opening yet more wounds upon her skin. Fresh blood pouring out onto her already blood-stained, shredded clothing for half a minuet before the wounds closed slowly. The corner of the werewolf's mouth twitching slightly in a minute smile. How far was the Slytherin going to go? How ever far it wasn't going to matter to Midnight, she had given up caring a while ago.

The effect of Chris's first curse didn't have much of an effect. He let out a slight growl. Why had he forgotten that werewolves had healing powers? Oh well, there was no point in crying over spilled milk. The creature didn't seem to care much for Chris - it seemed like a spell had been placed on her. He would easily be able to attack Kit.
Chris drew his wand into the cage again. This time he was going to go for a more powerful approach. "You're going to pay for everything you've done for Billie!", growled the Slytherin. The wand in his hand still trembled slightly, but Chris felt happy that he was doing something for Billie. "CRUCIO!", he suddenly screamed out of nowhere. This was the first time that he had ever been able to use an unforgivable curse.

Midnight almost laughed, Chris really was a moron. Didn't really matter though, nothing did anymore. As yet another Unforgivable Curse was cast upon her, Midnight almost grinned, the pain felt as if she was changing again. She longed for the full moon once again, to change and become what she should be.
The human wanted to make her pay? Alright then. Twisting her head backwards to expose her throat, the werewolf gave Chris a clear shot to kill her, if he wanted to make her pay so badly, then why not let him? Wasn't like it was just speeding up time till the Order or the Headmistress or someone decided that they had to kill her anyway. What was the point in waiting?
"Go on then. Give it your best shot." Midnight croaked, voice horse and cracked through lack of use and pain, the first words that she had spoken in a couple of weeks, and even the last time she had spoken, it hadn't been much. The werewolf hadn't actually spoken at length for months, not that she'd particularly want to speak at length with human scum.

Chris stopped for a moment while the creature spoke to him. He wasn't strong enough to use the killing curse. Chris was giving it his everything by casting crucio, and he had a strong feeling that the werewolf knew this. "f*ck off you self centered b*tch", Chris responded angrily, as he pointed his wand at her yet again, and somehow managed to cast the torture curse for the second time in his life. When Billie found out she was sure going to be happy - maybe even enough to make her completely recover from all the pain. This time Chris put even more into the spell. He tried his hardest to picture Billie and the twins, and how this was going to help them.

Disappointed, Midnight moved her head back to where it had been for the last couple of weeks, staring straight at the cage roof. Chris cursed her once more, it was worse this time, but not as bad as the silver burns she had received which still left extremely noticeable scars, easily defined from the others, appearing fresher, more painful and clearly wounds that had been burnt into her skin.
Breathing slightly deeper, the werewolf let a minuet growl slip out as she raised her arm towards her head. "If it's incentive you need, I can offer it. One bite and I'll look less like the rest of your kind. I know you want to kill me, your just holding back, toying with your prey." She replied, not bothering to taunt him as it would have taken more effort than she had at that moment.

Tommy was still in the Great Hall pigging out on his supper. For a cute boy he could eat so much! Faith had decided to go for a walk around, whilst her boyfriend Tom finished his third helping of supper.
After climbing the first flight of stairs, Faith made her way through the first floor corridor, where she spotted an open door. Faith wasn't usually the type of girl to be nosy, but something just didn't feel right. The Gryffindor girl made her way through the door, and was quite shocked to find a fellow Gryffindor – Kitiara Tuck locked up in one of the cages.
Without thinking Faith made her way over to the cage, and began to inspect it , ignoring Christopher Anthony Brian. “You poor thing! I must let you out!”, spoke Faith. Normally she would have asked Christopher what was going on, but she had eaten to much at supper, and the food was sort of controlling her mind. Faith quickly searched her robe pockets for her wand, and found it within a few seconds. Faith aimed her wand at the cage, so that the spell she was about to use wouldn't harm Kit. “Bombarda!”, she yelled. As her spell hit the cage, the metal bars blasted open, so there was enough space for Kit to escape the tiny cage. “Who locked you in here?”, asked Faith curiously, putting her wand back into her pocket.

Midnight sighed as someone else came in. Chris wasn't likely to put the werewolf out of her misery now, not with someone else around anyway. Not bothering to even grunt at Faith seeming to talk to her like some kind of lost puppy, the werewolf just continued to lay there, just breathing and staring at the cage roof. Well, until Faith blasted the side of her prison to pieces.
Scrambling further backwards suddenly, Midnight was on her feet in less than the time it took to blink, wary of some kind of trap, no way on earth that a human would come along and just bust her out like this, it had to be some kind of trap. "Leonardo did... What the hell's going on?..." She replied, dark eyes flicking between Faith and Chris as if he had helped plan what ever was happening to her now, as if it was some kind of sick twisted form of revenge, preferable to just killing Midnight there and then.

Faith didn't move or flinch when Kit stood up, she simply remained in the spot she was standing in. Faith hadn't really thought of any dangers of letting Kit out of the cage, after all she was a Gryffinor and Gryffindor's always tried their best to be brave in any circumstance. "Leonardo locked you in here?" shrieked Faith. "I always knew that guy was a bit of a weirdo. He just can't lock students in cages! You poor thing!", she cried. "I don't know what is going on, but i would sure like to find out!", she growled angrily. It was surprising what went on in this castle! Faith thought it was just an ordinary magic school, but she was obviously very wrong indeed. Faith reached over into the broken cage ,and held her hand out for Kit, so that she could be helped out of the cage. Faith's head quickly turned to Chris. "Do you know anything about this?", she questioned the Slytherin boy.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?", screamed Chris, as he watched Faith crush the metal cage. Was she nuts? Hadn't she read everything in the Hogwarts Gazette about how dangerous Kit was. Hadn't Faith at least seen what the creature had done to Billie? Chris quickly grabbed Faith's body, and pulled her away from the cage, so that Kit couldn't hurt her too. "Yes. There are good reasons why that creature is being kept in the cage! She is a werewolf, and Leonardo keeps her in there so she doesn't hurt anyone like she nearly killed Billie Joe Hardings!", he explained furisosly. What Kit had said to Chris worried him, but he had more important things to worry about right now, like getting Kitiara Tuck back where she belonged.

Plainly startled by Faith's actions, Midnight just stood there, unable to get further into the shadows to conceal her bony frame due to the bars. She didn't like it at all, this wasn't something that could ever have happened in the werewolf's mind. "I'm still here." She growled at Chris, who was once again talking like she wasn't even in the room. Without fur to bristle, fangs to bare or even ears that could flatten, Midnight was at a loss for how to respond. Surely Faith had seen the blood stained and shredded clothing, the scars and the dried blood that covered her, didn't that tell her anything?!

Usually Faith cared allot about clothes, and usually took notice of what other people were wearing, but it had only just occurred to her that Kit was wearing clothes that were shredded and covered in blood. Faith's eyes had been struck more on the small cage Kit had been kept in. Allot of people knew that Kitiara Tuck was a werewolf in the moonlight, but why had a human been locked in a cage. Didn't all humans have equal rights, even if they were werewolves?
"Get the hell off me!", screamed Faith, as she kicked her leg back-wards in the direction of Chris's legs. Converse didn't have heels on them, but Faith did have quite a hard kick, especially when it came to kicking boys. "Everyone has equal rights. No creature should be kept in a cage. I don't care what danger there is in letting her out of the cage, but if you are scared you can run away now!", spoke Faith angrily. There was no way that she was being told what to do by a Slytherin.

"I know you are, but i wish you would do everyone a favor and disappear", responded Chris to the werewolf's remark. The creature wasn't so tough without her werewolf features, which had been used to torture Chris's best friend Billie Joe Bryant. Thankfully nurse joy had done numerous tests on Billie, and concluded that she was not a werewolf.
"I'm trying to pro...", but before Chris could finish his sentence he felt the pain between his legs and he fell the to the solid floor gasping for breath. Uch Faith had such a hard kick! "Y.y.yeah O.o.k", he gasped.

"So why didn't you do it then?" Midnight snapped back, either he was acting tougher than he was or he was just too cowardly to actually kill her, either way, Chris was still a moron.
"Are you really just letting me out, no tricks or anything?" Midnight questioned, unsure and completely thrown by the sudden turn of events. If she did get out, where could she go? The den wasn't the safe secure place that it once had been, she wouldn't be welcomed back to Gryffindor tower even if it were possible not to be found there, it just didn't seem possible.
