The Headmistress didn't agree on keeping an ex-student locked up in the classroom, it was cruel. Wasn't Kit a student like everyone else? Nobody deserved to be used for a class project. It had been Professor Millhouse who had caught werewolf Kitiara Tuck, who had lost her mind and gained a hatred to-wards her own species. He was keeping the werewolf locked up in a metal cage in his classroom.
Professor Millhouse had important order business to attend to & so it was Headmistress Dagner's turn to check that Kit was ok. She made her way into the classroom with a plate, which contained some leftover food from lunch. Headmistress Dagner carefully opened the cage with her wand & placed the food into the cage. Once the food had been placed, she quickly but carefully closed the cage, so that Kit the werewolf couldn't escape. "I'm really sorry about this Kit, ", the Headmistress sighed to the unconscious werewolf.

Jay slipped out of the shadows in the corner of the classroom, clearly he hadn't been noticed. "If your sorry, why don't you let her out of the cage. Your only going to f*ck her up worse like this." The Slytherin muttered darkly, walking up to the side of the cage, his cousin hadn't woken up from that prat of a teacher knocking her out when he brought her there. It was their own fault if they wanted to give the werewolf food, she'd only hurl it at something and refuse to touch anything they gave her, which was why Jay was there in part, even if she was feral and normally thought Jay was a jackass, Kit would trust him. It was Jay that got her out of that silver cage after all. He'd brought her some wolfsbane potion so she could at least attempt to escape properly at the next moon along with some water and raw meat, not much, but the Slytherin couldn't sneak too much to Kit without the professors finding out. "And when she's awake, if you want any form of response, call her Midnight." Jay added, not saying the short version of her taken name, only privileged few got to call her that.

The voice from behind Headmistress Dagner startled her a little, but nobody would have have known this from looking at her. "I'm going to release her as soon as possible. I was against all of this, but it was Professor Millhouse's idea. The head of the Order usually knows best." answered the Headmistress. She turned her body, so that she was facing the side of Kitiara's cage and Jay James. The bottle of Wolfsbane potion, raw meat and water caught the Headmistress's eye. "Suppose it's better than the leftovers i brought for her," she mumbled, nodding her head towards the plate of raw meat.

"Yeah, if best also means freaking the living crap out of her, making my cousin even more resentful and claustrophobic." Jay carried on muttering, peeling the meat off the plate, which had been more of a convenient way to carry it than for Kit, who definitely would appreciate the human touch. Throwing the bloody meat at the werewolf, it hit her, if that didn't wake her up soon, it would eventually, because Jay definitely wasn't throwing any bottles around. The Headmistress' offering wouldn't even be considered by Kit for food, leftovers given to her by humans, not in the slightest bit interesting to the werewolf. Don't worry Mid, I'll get you out some how. Jay thought to himself, despite all his joking and teasing, Jay was still an over protective cousin.

"I'm sorry Jay. If i could let her out i would, but i can't just let a person with a werewolf mind into the school.", sighed the Headmistress. She glared into Kit's cage, trying to picture what it was like being stuck in a cage. Headmistress Dagner wasn't claustrophobic, but she didn't fancy being stuck in a space, where you couldn't even stretch your arms out a little. "I'll try my best to get your cousin out of her. Leonardo shouldn't be allowed to use your younger cousin for his lesson. She is a human, no matter if she is a werewolf or not."

Midnight opened her eyes slightly, head pounding from something. It felt like a while since she last ate, the wolfish influences to her appearance had gone and... SHE WAS IN A CAGE! Grey-blue eyes snapping open fully, the werewolf took in her surroundings. "Let me the f*ck out of here!" She yelled before thinking about anything else. Now sitting bolt upright, something cold, wet and... bloody slid onto her legs from her stomach, looking around, she saw her cousin, no doubt it was him that had given her this, not the human scum standing next to him, refusing to let her out. Tearing a chunk of bloody animal flesh off with her teeth, the werewolf swallowed, regaining the slight improvements to the shameful human appearance. "I haven't been human for over seven years, and I never will be." Midnight snarled, looking around at the cage, trying to figure out its weakest point so that she could escape before the panic set in.

Kit was awake, and obviously she wasn't happy at all. "Midnight, we are going to let you out as soon as possible, but Professor Millhouse needs to keep you here just a little longer," spoke the Headmistress softly, an calmly. Keeping a werewolf minded human in the castle made her feel nervous, but the Headmistress had to keep calm for the sake of the unborn baby and own. "You wont escape from the cage Midnight, it's well protected," informed the Headmistress, as she watched the creature trying to figure out an escape plan.
"I am going to kill Leonardo when i find him!" Growled the Headmistress. "Human or not, nobody should be kept in these conditions!", she spat, noticing how small the cage actually was. There wasn't any room to breath in the tiny cage, let alone eat the food she had been given.

A while ago, Simon had heard about Kit's change, she had become wild and untameable, even by Wolfsbane potion. Rumour had it she had attacked Billie Joe, who, for some reason had turned to the side of Lord Morbius and had tried to attack several more students, but what they had done to her now was outrageous. They had, apparently locked her up in a cage, as an example of a werewolf, for students to observe during Defense Against the Dark Arts. He let out a bitter laugh, this could never be a smart idea. Not only were werewolves dangerous, even in human form, but obviously professor Millhouse and Headmistress Dagner hadn't fully thought this through. Certainely other students would find this outrageous too, perhaps he could even convince some Muggleborn students this was animal cruelty.
As he walked in the classroom, at first he was shocked. A former student, who had, most of the time looked quite decent, now looked wild, wounded and locked up in a tiny cage. His upperlip drew up, baring his teeth and involuntarily he let out a low, angry growl. This was even worse than he had expected. At first, when professor Millhouse had just started the job, both of teacher and head of the Order, Simon had had respect for him. His decisions had seemed wise, and quite humane, but this cage wasn't even fit for the lowest lifeform. Perhaps it was best that they locked that man up in the cage, instead of a seventeen year old girl, no matter how dangerous she was.
Leaning against the doorpost he finally spoke, "So. How long are you going to keep her here as an object of study?" He spat the words out, adressing the Headmistress. "As long as professor Millhouse pleases, or perhaps, when he grows a brain, before anything bad happens?" He shook his head, furious about all this. He would like to get closer to the cage, but had now idea how Midnight would respond, whether she would even recognize him in his human form.

"Why don't you just f*cking well kill me then?" Midnight growled. Yeah right, like hell were the humans going to let her out, they'd just keep her there and cause the werewolf pain for their own enjoyment, or teach the DADA class how to injure and kill werewolves no doubt. Scum. Protected? Silver bars probably, mostly for the human's sick sense of power over anything that wasn't like them. Partly due to their sick twisted sense of humour too, they'd want to see her burn on the bars probably. Seeing Simon walk in and growl, the Gryffindor instantly assumed that this was directed at her, he being an older, stronger werewolf, he was of course, the Alpha of the two. Was he part of this plan to torture and ridicule the slightly less experienced werewolf? She couldn't tell until he joined in the argument against Leonardo and the Headmistress. Or was it all an act? Either way, Midnight was keeping as far away from any bars as she could, remembering the last time she had been this situation far too well, it didn't matter that these bars were simply reinforced by magic, not silver, the pain was still a threat to her mind.

"I want to release her, but i need the permission of Professor Millhouse", responded the Headmistress to the familiar voice of the Slytherin Prefect Simon Alvin, who like Kitiara Tuck was a werewolf. "I don't think it's one of Professor Millhouses brainwaves, keeping a student in a cage, but he is the head of the order, and i have to do what he says. " The cage Kitiara sat in was incredibly small. Heamistress Dagner had asked Leonardo about expanding the cage, but he had told her how it was safer to keep the 'creature' in a space small, so there was less chance of escape. If Leonardo wanted to show everyone about werewolves, then why couldn't he just use slide shows like previous defense against the dark arts teachers had done. If anyone else found out about this, there could be an uproar with werewolf rights campaigners.
"Nobody is going to harm you Midnight!", assured the Headmistress, in a soft reassuring tone of voice. "We are going to get you out of that cage before you can say Quidditch"

Post by Olli Carter on Jan 9, 2008 18:40:42 GMT
Kit and Olli where known not to get along - she had been the one who had bitten Olli and was the reason that he was now a werewolf, but when Olli had found out about how Kit was being kept it had angered him. If they where keeping Kit locked up, he dreaded to know what had happened to their cubs. The 'animal' that Professor Millhouse and Headmistress Dagner were keeping locked up in a small cage was also the mother of his cubs and a Hogwarts student.
Sparks where storming from the tip of Olli's wand, as he stormed into the classroom. The small cage with Midnight inside made the Slytherin's blood boil. How were they managing to keep her like this. "What the f*ck do you think you are doing keeping her locked up?" spat Olli "Our cubs are in the forest alone & they can't even hunt properly yet!", he yelled, making his way up to the cage. "Don't worry Midnight, i'll look after the cubs and i'll try my best to get you out of there!", he whispered through the small metal bars.

Simon smirked at the words of the Headmistress, she had to wait untill Millhouse gave his permission to release Midnight. Ridiculous. She was Headmistress, she was supposed to be boss in her own school, her opinion was that one that counted, she hadn't gotten that job for nothing! He thought back to what he had read a while ago, a former Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, had kept his own opinion even when he was about to be arrested by the Ministry, so why couldn't this Headmistress? "Aren't you the Headmistress?" He didn't wait for an answer, "You are. That means this is your school and it's your task to protect your students. And your right to give out orders and not listen to that..." He fell silent, suddenly remembering to keep profanity down to a minimum level. No matter how much she let herself be bossed around by that prat, she was still the Headmistress.
He walked towards the cage, squatting, trying to get on eyelevel with Midnight. Surely she would be suspicious of everything at this moment. She had been betrayed, locked up in a tiny cage. He growled again, compassionate, wondering to himself why he wasn't doing more about this. He was the Alpha of the pack. This thought calmed him. As Alpha it was his duty to keep all members of the pack safe "Don't worry Midnight. We'll get you out of here." The minute he said it, Olli came storming in, yelling about what the cubs were to do. After letting him rant about Midnight being locked up and what their cubs were supposed to do, he put his hand on the older boy's shoulder, trying to calm him too, to bring him to reason. "Don't worry. We'll get her out of here but in the mean while somebody should watch the cubs. Seeing how they are yours, I'd say you go there and take care of them." He shrugged, not knowing anything about cubs himself.

Snorting as the Headmistress tried to make her believe that no one was going to hurt her, Midnight sneered slightly, not believing it for one second. Relaxing slightly as Olli came in, a werewolf that she herself had bitten, someone who thought more along her own lines, not to mention, he was the farther of her cubs. "Get Thunder on your side, the largest cub, black furred, he's the most dominant, get him on your side and the rest will follow, Fenris won't take much persuading." She told Olli, closer to the growling speech of their lupine forms than English. "Let's see how this thing stands up to our true form." Midnight added, snickering slightly with an evil smirk.

"I know it's my school, but i can't just let Kit walk out into the hallways. Being Headmistress also means that i have to consider the safety of my students.", yelled the Headmistress, raising her voice slightly for the first time. It wasn't very often that Headmistress Dagner raised her voice, but over the past few weeks she had been made to feel as if she was one of the worst Head-teachers Hogwarts had ever had. Leonardo had been helping out Headmistress Dagner with Hogwarts, as being pregnant was adding to all of the stress, but she was now regretting all of this. Leonardo's suggestions were usually great, but locking Kit up in a cage was one of the worst ideas he had ever given the Headmistress.
The mention of Kit's cubs made her feel even worse. Headmistress Dagner thought of how the small cubs were all alone with out their mother. This was all her fault. If any of the cubs died, then it would be all on her head, not Leonardo's. "If any of you have a plan to get Kit out of the castle, without being spotted by Leonardo, then please tell me now!", she shouted, trying her best to remain as calm as possible.
