The newly appointed Headmaster walked into the all too familiar Hospital Wing. He had spent too many nights here in pain from physical to mental anguish, but he had also seen the birth of his son here also. Today though he was here to see Billie. He had not seen her since the havoc in the forest. He knew that she would not be happy to see him at all, but he had to set the record straight.
He calmly walked over to her bed and waited for her to acknowledge him. She was still weak, but he hoped she would be able to muster enough energy up to talk with him. He came in neutrality and hoped she would not cause trouble or react wrongly, but he could only hope.
He stood and waited for her to come to and react.

[green]So far Chris had been seeing her for the majority of the time she'd been in the hospital. It was rather sweet but he really needed to get it into his head that she would always think of him as 'just friends'. Luckily he still had lessons to go to so she did have time to herself. She'd found that walking was a task which she found hard. But she'd manage to walk far out of the Hogwarts ground at night without noticing- returning of course.
When she heard footsteps coming towards her she opened an eye, a sigh of annoyance at being disturbed. Anger filled her thin veins as she saw who it was. "What do you want, Millhouse? She growled, "Come to gloat?" She remembered that her wand was behind a box somewhere in leonardo's office. Eh. That one might be tricky to retrieve.[/green]

"Nice to see you too Mrs.Bryant. I'm sure you don't like me too much at the moment. Half of all that happened because of your decisions as well as Kit's and you know it though. I'm sorry about my reaction, but you wouldn't quite understand." He looked at her in her bed ridden state, or so it seemed bed ridden. Leonardo did feel remorse for the attitude he had given her while the crazed midnight attacked her. It had been inappropriate. It had been his job to save the student no matter who or what they are.
Thinking more and more into Leonardo had felt even more remorse. How could he let her go through that when her husband is a close friend of his and when they have children. Leonardo understood the instincts of Billie to want to stay alive by what ever means possible so that she could take care of her kids.
"I would like to apologize if you would allow it. I shouldn't of acted that way in those circumstances. Although, my offer to protect you and your family if you would turn away for those ways that you have chosen. I could make sure that Morbius couldn't find you and that your kids could grow up safely like they deserve."

[green]"Well. You 'saved' me in the end. Would you like a prize of some sorts? You deserve it after all. You've been modest all of these years, with all that wanting peace sh*t" She hissed, "I dropped off her birthday present. I didn't realise it was the full moon. I fail to see how that was my fault." A scratch ran deep down her cheek, an unfortunatly permanent scar. God damned flea ridden beast. She'd pay.
She raised an eyebrow. This was certainly a suprise to her, Leonardo apologising when a couple of nights beforehand he was tempted to let her die. Her suprise faded as it went into persuading her to join the Order again. iting her lip, she kept quiet until she could no longer help it. "Bullsh*t!" She yelled at him, straining her weak voice, "Number one. You aren't sorry, you're just guilty that a death would have been on your conscience and you're just guilty that I'm a mother who happens to be your mates wife. Number two. There is no way I'm joining the Order. It's too late anyway, I snuck out last night, I signed my name in my own blood. I'm Morbius' until I die." She smirked, as if it was a good thing. And to her it was. "Oh please. I fail to see how you're going to 'protect' me. Move me and my kids to some hellhole in Poland? Change our names, our identities, have wizards around watching everything we do?" She smiled sarcasticly. She went back to her angry and sinister self, the hand fulls of bedsheet that was being scrunched up in fists as she sat up began to stain red as her own nails dug into the palms of her hands. "Now you listen to me here. My children are going to grow up without any danger. You want to know why? Because I won't let anyone touch them. They will grow up safe. I stay faithful to Morbius and they follow in my footsteps. Everything will be perfect."[/green]

She was reacting better than he thought and she was also helping him more than insulting him. He was amazed how fast she was to think he was offering her a place in the Order, something he would never do again. He was only trying to help her and give her one last chance for protection, which would be much different than she described it.
"Well Billie you can never say that I didn't say I tried. And so you know, I am not trying to relieve my conscious because you'll die soon enough if you stay with the side you are for. Unfortunately it turns out that now you are bonded with that side and you sign your death certificate. I only hope for your children's well being that the Order and I rectify this situation and put Morbius where he belongs before you die. I also hope that you have a plan for your children if you die, which is most likely going to happen."
He looked at her calmly and his voice was also calm and had no hint of anger, but concern did accompany his words. He was sincerely concern for the well being of her and her children, but she was blinded by the web of power and fear that Morbius had begun to spin around the wizarding community.
"You are too blinded by your arrogance and devotion to the dark arts now to see what is truly good for not only your children but also yourself and even Leo. I only hope he is able to help you . I do have a question though...when did you decide to convert? Was it after that poor family was murdered in Hogsmeade?" He looked her in the eyes examining her every reaction."Do you remember that night Billie? The night when that family much like yours was slaughter viciously and heartlessly by the beast which you now pledge your life to. Do you not recall the heart breaking screams of those children, those young children with their whole lives in front of them that Morbius killed for pure sport and entertainment. And what about the parents who were forced to watch it all as their only children were so maliciously murdered in front of their very eyes with nothing they could do. And then they, the parents, were decapitated and gutted and you know one of them very well. Do you not remember the corpse of the mother with no head and guts that was thrown into the streets by Morbius that landed on you. I'm sure something like that you have to remember no one could forget that. That could very well soon be your family. I hope you bear this in mind Mrs. Hardings. And don't dare correct me, you do not deserve his last name."
His voice had carried more conviction but he had remained relatively pensive as he told the horrible story of what most likely be her young family soon.

[green] She gave him a blank stare as he went on about she had 'signed her death certificate'. As much as she wished to just stare out at the window, she listened to the Headmaster with a bored expression upon her ghostly face at the first part of his little speech.
"Ah yes. Of course, I forgot that I'll of course die." She muttered sarcasticly, "I won't die on my kids like my mother did. And Leo will be there for them unlike my father. Millhouse, this may be hard to realise but there is a chance that Georgia and Gerard will grow up with a happy childhood. Just a tip Leonardo, be there for Zakarie or you'll find him growing up to hate you." She sat up and took a sip of the water and pills by her bedside. Although trying to act casual and cool, she still seemed highly annoyed. "So read the gossip column yet? Great to hear that I'm mental, eh? I assume that the little section concerning you is about as true as my husband cheating on me." She smiled sweetly.
Her smile dissapeared as Leonardo asked her when she converted. She couldn't recall exactly what triggered her. Her fake confidence dissapeared quickly at the mention of that family. As he talked through that mentally scarring event she remebered from the exact angle she'd been on that night. She bit her lip and kept on looking away and just drew her eyes to anywhere as she tried to ignore what he was saying. However her attempts failed. She relived when she heard the high screams that echoed out and caused even some of the Death Eaters to stop and think for a minute. She remembered when she'd got back that night how she'd scrubbed at her skin, crying, until it went raw and bled. She suddenly felt weak, mentally, as he finished it off. She really didn't deserve Bryant as a last name. Leo deserved so much better. It was no wonder why he hadn't seen her.
"Should we cross paths in a battle. I wouldn't kill you, my step-sister might be dumb enough to. I know how Morbius wants to finish you for himself." She croaked, worn out. "Should we cross paths in a siuation where Order is against Death Eaters and I was being such a danger to your side. If you had the chance. Would you kill me?" She asked. " Leonardo, Renne has told me how devoted Luna was to the Dark Lord. Devotion doesn't dissapear. And as for that plan? Should I die, then I wish for Leo to protect them. Should he die then I'd rather you take them into safety. And seeing as though I dislike you highly, I'll do my best to see that neither Leo or I die."[/green]

He had watched her blank and seemingly bored face with very observant eyes. He knew that this attitude was fake. She was so weak, but not in a bad way, she was so exhausted. in her mind she seemed so worried. When she told Leonardo to be there for his son, he knew she was correct. He was as much as possible too. Only earlier that day he had taken a trip to see his small son."Thank you for the advice I do know it comes well said. I am trying and will continue. As soon as this threat is over I will be there for him every second of the day. As for now I'm trying to insure the safety of his future."
Leonardo couldn't help but laugh and break his concentration when Billie brought up that gossip article."I have to say that the lady that writes that article is absolutely brilliant for being able to make up such preposterous ideas, but they are so entertaining. Bella is my sister not my ex-wife. And Leo would never cheat on you. He loves you, very much so." At this he looked down at her into her eyes.
"You know Billie they say one can see a persons soul when they look into their eyes. Your eyes say so much about you. You're not as evil as the others. You have your motherly instincts intact. That's truly all that matters to you, so why did you do this?"
It was then that Leonardo figured out why she had converted. Why hadn't it occurred to him earlier, but he could be wrong."Before I answer your question I would like mine answered, why did you convert to a Death Eater? As soon as I have that answer I will answer yours. That and any other Question." When she mentioned Luna it worried Leonardo. "I too know about her past very well. I had met her in a duel once before while I was an Auror and she was still a Death Eater. I know how loyal she once was, but she has what she's always wanted now and it's curing her. She's just like you Billie you don't need to run to the darkness for protection, I promise you that Leo is going to protect you 100%. He is one of my best members and I am so happy for you two. I just don't want you to risk losing that. That is truly what I'm trying to do. I want you to see that compared to all that you have with him, being a Death Eater isn't worth it."
He was trying his best to get her to realize all she was putting in jeopardy. She seemed to think that Morbius wouldn't hurt her, and he wouldn't...yet. Leonardo figured he had her for one reason and that was Leo.
"Look I know you hate me now. And I know you have every right to, what I did in the forest was wrong of me. I know it and that's why I came here I wanted to apologize, but I wanted to make up for it. Although it may not seem the same, but I am trying to save your life right now. You have the opportunity to live freely and so happily. You need to listen Billie, the only reason Morbius will keep you alive is for Leo. Anyway he can infiltrate the Order he will. You are married to him and Morbius may not know love but he knows what it can do to people. He is using you and as soon as he gets to Leo and gets what he needs...I don't want to say what will happen. Please, what ever you do save yourself for the sake of your children and Leo. Have you even thought what it must be like for him. Torn in the middle between good and bad, with the constant worry that he will lose you and be left alone with your kids. Do it for Leo and your kids for god sake. You just told me to always be there for my child, but you're willing to risk your life for a cause that isn't true. Morbius's father caused the hurt you experience don't do that to your children."
Leonardo was pleading. He didn't know how he was going to be able to get her to see what she was doing to her family. He didn't want her kids to be hurt for the rest of their lives and Leo the same because she was blind sighted by Morbius.

[green]She shook her head "After this threat is over? You don' know how long or short that'll be. Don't put work before him, he deserves the best and that includes parenting." She said. She was doing her best to keep up a strong appearance, but she was finding this exhausting as it was.
She smirked a bit. "Brilliant? You haven't had to be in every bloody issue. First she was saying that I was going to be a bad mother. Then I was cheating on Leo. Then she was saying that I'd be wearing some sort of mugle clothing at my wedding. God, I actually don't know when she'll leave me the hell alone."
Tears welled up in the eyes that said she 'wasn't as evil as the other'. She didn't even know why she was crying, maybe because everything had finally caught up with her. The fact that she'd almost killed someone who'd been one of her closest friends, the fact that her exsisting friends were straying away from her through fear, the fact that people knew her to be dangerous and never spoke to her.
"Your first question wasn't why, it was when. But I'll answer both anyway." She muttered "I first thought about converting after that attack at Sol Island, the only reason I didn't was incase they thought I wasn't being serious and would attack me. At the time I was pregnant, so I couldn't take any risks. I finally joined after I'd given birth to the twins." She took a deep breathe and thought about her second answer for a few seconds "Why? Well. You can blame it on my bound to grow f*cked up childhood. My constant rebellions against my father, maybe? Or prehaps it's my belief that becoming a Death Eater has made me stronger and will provide protection upon me and my kids who, for all you know, are 'potential Death Eaters', the belief that in this war Morbius and his minions- including me- have more willpower to use curses that the Order don't use and therefore, we have more chance on winning this battle." She took another sip of water and shook her head. "I can't depend on Leo to protect me, he needs to protect himself. Death Eaters are going to want to kill a member of the Order than they are one of their own."
Being as stubborn as she was, Leonardo's word weren't convincing her. "I was expecting you to leave me in the forest. I would have done if I were you. Leonardo, this is my choice. And Morbius hasn't even asked me any direct qustions yet, about anything." She croaked, getting closer to a tear falling down her cheeks. "I have thought about Leo. I can't remember that last time we properly talked. Since being in hospital, Leo hasn't brought the kids to visit me, but I know he loves me, and I love him so f*cking much. I'll still do all I can to protect them. But it's too late. I'm not going back." Finally a drop of salty water ran down her sh*te cheek. "This may seem strange. But for the first time in years. I feel sane."[/green]
