I know that nearly the whole site has made one of these for their child, but i wanted to write one too since i was in a creative mood.
Mine is not about Jason Newman, but instead about his brother's son, who is also Faith Evelyn's son. I hope you enjoy it, even though it sucks.
Everything about the first impression was completely overwhelming. The four large tables dividing each student into their house, the ceiling above which was showed the peaceful nights sky and all of the stone sculptures which were scattered in various parts of the huge hall. Jason had been told tales of this amazing place by his relatives, but words couldn't explain how amazing it felt to be standing at the large oak doors of the Hogwarts Great Hall for the first time.
Jason Newman, the son of Tom Newman and Faith Evelyn was a lot like his family in many ways. The young boy was the spitting image of his father. Jason's hair was messy jet black just like his father's, apart from a streak of pink, which he had inherited from his mother. His face shape was just like his Tom's, as was his hazel eyes. Jason defiantly lived up to his name. Thankfully he hadn't grown up too much like his father, and his attitude was allot like his uncle Jason Newman Sr. The young Jason was super hyper like his Dad, but on the other hand he was also very brave, intelligent and understanding, quite like Uncle Jason.
At the same time as being excited Jason was absolutely terrified, just the same as all the other young people that surrounded him. It was obvious from most of their expressions about how nervous they were. He tried not to focus on the amount of people that were sitting in the hall as he walked past them. Jason would soon be sitting at the front of the Great Hall with all eyes focused on him, whilst he sat with a talking hat on his head. The Sorting Hat, as it was more commonly known placed each student into the house that suited them best. The hat was currently making it's speech to everyone. Jason tried his best not to listen to the speech, listening only made him feel more nervous, but the word 'Slytherin' made his spine tingle.
Everyone at home had explained to Jason that there was no need to be worried about being sorted, but he had every right to be nervous. Jason's mother, father, and uncle were all in Gryffindor. Being placed in Slytherin would be the most awful thing, as people in that house were known for their cruel, dark ways.
Jason's eyes caught those of his older twin cousins Gerrard and Georgia. Despite them being cruel Slytherin vampires Jason was good friends with them. The two, who were older than Jason by a year were sat at the Slytherin table. Their cold eyes were fixed on their younger brother Azure, who also stood waiting to be called. Azure was also a vampire, but he didn't have a cruel black heart like his siblings. Jason had spoken to his younger cousin on the train, and he was worried about what the house would decide for him. His mother Billie hoped for him to be placed in Slytherin, but his father Leo wanted him to be in either Ravenclaw or Gryffindor.
’'Bryant, Azure’’ called the deep voice of the battered sorting hat. Jason watched as his cousin stood up nervously. He caught worried whispers of the word 'Pure blood vampire?' from some students. Despite being more common now, vampires were still very misunderstood and feared by the wizarding world. There was tension as the hat spoke, but it soon screamed the words 'Ravenclaw'. The young vampire seemed to walk off the stool with a smile, as he was cheered by his new house.
Headmistress Dagner soon shifted though the list quickly, and the crowd was getting smaller and smaller. For most students everything was already over and there was nothing left to be nervous about, but for Jason he still stood with the remaining students. Finally the sorting hat yelled his name. With his eyes locked firmly on the front of the room Jason dragged himself to the front. The Headmistress greeted him as he sat on the stool.
Jason closed his eyes to block out everyone that was watching him. 'I remember both of your parents, especially Mr Newman.' whispered the hat in her head. "You seem to have inherited their qualities and the only house for you seems to be..." The hat gave a short pause. "Gryffindor!"
He opened his eyes to see that the room had broken out into applause and cheers, especially all of the Gryffindors. Jason shook the hand of Headmistress Dagner and then made his way down to the Gryffindor table.
Once everyone had been placed into the correct house the feast began. Jason had never seen so much food in his life! The day had taken up so much energy and so his plate had been crammed with food. Jason felt sorry for his three cousins, who weren't able to enjoy tonights dinner. Instead they would have to hunt in the forest later on.
