It was evening time in the lounge and everything seemed still and quiet. People where chatting amongst friends quietly. This was quite boring for Ellouise as she liked things loud and not boringly quiet. Of course the quiet couldn't last. Ellie made her way into the lounge carrying a muggle cd player and a few party cds. She placed the cd player on the table, flashed her wand and as if by magic loud music began to play a cd that was already in the machine.
"IT'S PARTY TIME EVERYONE!" She yelled at the top of her voice, as Ellie danced around all the people that were sat around doing nothing. "DANCE, DANCE, DANCE!" She screamed. Again Ellie flicked her wand, and the room began to glow different colors, giving it a party atmosphere.

Leo was standing in a corner, how he had been roped into being at the school was unbelievable . There was too many people in the room, he could hear tons of pulses and he was tempted. But he had promised the headmistress that he wouldn't murder students of the school. His red eyes where closed once more, trying to block out voices from where he could hear peoples thoughts, and blocking out his desire for blood.
His eyes opened when he heard Ellouise Gilman shouting and screaming. Then the lights started, making Leo wince slightly, lights hurt, ALOT. So, the vampire was planning on staying by the corner. Well until Joe turned up, he had sent a wand message to his brother to get his ass to the lounge. If one of the Bryant siblings where going to be here, then so was the younger one.

Post by Headmistress Dagner on Aug 19, 2008 15:33:44 GMT
Headmistress Dagner was sitting in one of the comfortable arm chairs. In her arms was a small baby - her son Jake Tré Padget, who was only a few weeks old. The lounge was usually a quite place to come, and so this was place she had decided on coming to give Jake his evening feed. Tré was back at home asleep, as it had been his turn to stay up and look after Jake last night.
Headmistress placed a plastic babies feeding bottle into her son's mouth and he quickly began to suckle on it. All of a sudden loud music started playing and lights started flashing. Ellouise Gillman had just started her own party in the lounge.
"It's ok the music wont hurt you" Headmistress Dagner whispered softly into Jake's ear, but he didn't seem to mind the loud music. Jake carried on drinking his milk as if there was nothing going on against him. He had obliviously inherited this from his father Tré Padget, who was obsessed by loud instruments like drums.

Ritsuka didn't really know what she was doing. The last time she was in the lounge, she had a bit of an awkward conversation with people she can't even remember and then left. Ever since then she had been a bit nervous of re-entering the place, fearing another awkward confrontation from a student or worse, a professor, and being forced to leave from claustrophobia.
Nonetheless, she took a deep breath, gripped her sketch book tightly and entered the lounge. Upon entering the room the first person she saw was Miss Dagner. Headmistress...? Since when was the last time Ritsuka seen her? Her first day here? Is that a child? She stared at the baby boy for a couple seconds then quickly averted her eyes and walked towards the back of the room.
Avoiding the eyes of most of the people in the room and trying not brush against anyone, Ritsuka made it to a lone chair by a small bookcase. Not too far away from her, she saw someone standing in the opposite corner. Quietly opening her sketch book, she started to draw whatever came to mind, little doodles lining the paper. Next thing she knew, Ritsuka had broken her lead from a sudden jolt in her body as a reaction to the sudden loud music and strobe lights blinding her.
"What the-" Looking through squinted eyes, she saw a blonde haired girl was dancing through the crowd to the ear splitting music and screaming. Ritsuka found it amusing that someone would just randomly start this and sat there staring at her flail. For now, she'd consider it dancing because it was a hell of a lot more movement than the cat-girl would ever show, even if it is dancing.

[Introducing the coincidental party dress.]
Citrine had heard the noise from another corridor, and out of sheer curiosity, couldn't help but proceed into nosiness. The Contraho Lounge was not one of the more familiar places for Citrine. In fact, if she remembered correctly, she'd most likely only been there once or twice, and didn't find much intrigue during said visits. Pulling lightly and nervously on her dress, she used one black gloved hand to push open the already cracked door.
Inside was chaos.
Oddly enough, the first thing to make Citrine stop with surprise was... well, the Headmistress. She wasn't even sure if she'd ever seen her in person before. Obviously, having never attended class, or really being around for the school part of school, Citrine found herself a bit oblivious to the staff. She felt a strange sense of excitement in knowing she was finally sharing a room with Ms. Dagner. Though, technically, it wasn't initially her face that surprised Citrine, it was the baby she was holding. Citrine hadn't seen a baby in... well, in years. She pretty much avoided children, because they usually cried in her presence.
Stepping cautiously, Citrine scanned the room. Ritsuka was in the corner, sketching. But for once, she didn't rush right over to find the comfort in familiarity. Instead, she stood alone, excited to be finally seeing the people she'd never seen before. This was quite the fantastic people-watching opportunity, and she gracefully used it. Before she knew it, she was smelling another vampire in the room. Who could it be, she wondered? The Headmistress? The strange girl bopping around, obviously the cause of the insanity? No, Citrine knew right away it was the lone man standing in the corner: just the way she liked it. She smiled in his direction, but did not hope for eye contact. That would only shake her nerves.
Really, she was only curious as to how his presence didn't disturb the baby. Usually, they just... knew. Perhaps, being born into such a world, the baby was used to strange beings. Cool..

Sitting by the fire place, Tyiro had been reading a comedic drama written by Shakespeare, Much Ado About Nothing. From time to time, he would look up from the bound pages and scan the room. There were huddled groups of friends chatting about a variety of things that was not worth for Ty to eavesdrop in on. There were a few prominent figures that took his attention. A shadow lover was in a corner away from everyone else. Seeing this guy, Ty wondered if Citrine would make an appearance tonight. Ritsuka had entered not too long ago and took the corner opposite from the dark corner. On one of the lounge chairs, Headmistress had come to feed her youngling: The only times Ty remembered seeing the Headmistress was at each large event, such as the sorting.
When he looked up this time, Ty saw a blond girl with a muggle stereo system. With a shock to him, loud music started playing and along with that, the room began to cycle through colours. Giving up on read his book, he tucked into an inner pocket of his robe and got up. It was still only the blond girl dancing, so moving over to one of the couches in the center was not difficult. Lounging now more comfortably on the sofa, Ty continued his surveying of the people. Everybody obviously uncomfortable or taken aback by the single girl's extreme action.
What a great social behavioral observation...
Enters Citrine, whom appeared dressed for such an occasion: Although, I don't believe it is much different from her usual. Looking her up and down, Ty took humor in her choice of necklace, a cross. He turned back to other oddities in the room. Remembering the Headmistress, Ty wondered why he didn't hear wailing from the child. The baby seemed easily content in such an environment.
The girls attempt at the party made no progress amongst the students. To break the tension, Ty got up and walked over to the the dancing girl. He took her hand and gave her a short spin so that she'd face him. His own movements were mere sways along with the tempo of the playing music. He leaned in to speak without the need to raise his voice.
"I'd thought maybe I would help break the atmosphere a little."
He extended his hand out.
"Ty"
