Mel couldn't believe they were actually keeping her on. Lia had assured her if she kept "acting up" (Lia's words for Mel being herself) then she'd never get a job here. And yet, they had decided to keep her. She just didn't know what they'd give her. Maybe a really sucky position. Like Lia being a nurse. Sure, they'd come to need them as of late, what with the attacks they'd been having. But, who'd wanna sit around for long periods of time and just wait for people to get hurt. Then, when there's an attack, you're swamped with people you have to heal. Didn't sound too good to Mel. Besides, her healing spells could use a lot of work. And practice. She really hoped that wasn't given to her. It would be more like a punishment than a job.
What if that's what Lia had been trying to tell her this whole time?! That she shouldn't act up so she didn't land such a sucky job! Well, Lia had been a suck up for the majority of her life, so she doubted it was a punishment for her. Almost everybody loved her. Well, that was their problem. But, perhaps, they might make her work with her sister. She shuddered at the very thought. It was bad enough she had to live with her. Having to work with her would be... well, it would be very unpleasant. Mel sighed, and wondered where she was going. She had been wandering around aimlessly for a few minutes. She entered a random door and found herself in the lounge. Sweet.
Mel plopped down on the couch, and wondered what to do. She would be getting ready for her job, but she had no idea what it would be. So that was out of the question. Mel sighed. She bored easily, and when she was bored, bad things happened. Unfortunately, she was bored. So, she pulled out her wand, and began fiddling around with it.
