The wind was blowing, cold, hard and sharp against her face. Her hair whipped behind her, scarf soaring in the breeze. She only enjoyed the wind when she could control it. All she had to do was sit against the wall and pull out her book, something she'd be ready for as soon as the numbness faded. She had been running. Running in the freezing cold. From what? Who knows. Her imagination, her past, her fears. What fears? Vampires are afraid of nothing...aren't they?
Citrine suddenly grew out of breath. It was a strange thing that happened. When she flew, when she ran, when she danced, the wind flying against her face...it somehow took her breath away. Somewhere in the wind she smelled fresh blood. She didn't usually fall into the desire, but this smell was different. It was screaming at her, tearing at her every breath, she was thirsty and they smelled absolutely f*cking delicious.
The numbness was gone. It faded fast and she nearly fell behind the wall, block all wind from consuming her cold, pale skin. She leaned against it, but could not sum up the strength to pull out her book. She would have trouble concentrating anyways. So she sat shaking, breathing heavily, trying to deny the seductive smell driving her insane.
She needed a distraction. Alone on this bridge, she needed something to keep her cold.

Celeste had had enough. Those stupid prats at the start of term feast had ruined everything. Was it attack Celestial day or something? Jeez. Making her way down to the bridge was made more difficult by her broken ribs. She didn't want to go to the hospital wing in case the nurse there questioned how it had happened. And she didn't want to get them healed right away because to tell you the truth, she kind of enjoyed the pain.
There was a steady trickle of blood coming from the back of her neck and the warm, coppery smell was intoxicating her. Celeste had procured the cut when thrown against a sharp rock earlier in the mountains. Stupid people, she thought. They will pay for what they've done.
Up ahead she could see a worn out figure slumped against the wall. Curiousity overtook her and she moved forward to see that it was Citrine. A few steps closed the gap between them and once at her destination Celeste sat opposite Faithless carefully.

She looked up to see the source of her weakness. It was the girl with the dark mark, the one she had seen before in the rain. She sat before her, blood trickling down...her neck. Citrine could feel her body grow hot with desire. It was an easy kill, the perfect meal sitting right before her, and she had to dig her nails into her arms to keep herself sane. She felt her fangs grow longer and her eyes begin to swirl into the silver red pools of hunger. She bit her lip, hard, and focused deep into the girl's eyes.
"I'm s-sorry." She said hoarsely, with a hint of a growl. "Y-Y-You k-know about m-me, right? You...You just...y-you s-smell so...f-f-f*cking d-delicious." She was shaking with restrain. She would not eat tonight. It was going to hurt, physically and mentally. But she would not kill. This new death eater friend would not suffer to her prey.

Alucard walked down the bridge as he often did towards a place with a view that could would but a goddess' beauty to shame. His exceptional hearing picked up the conversation. His exceptional sense of smell allowed him the wonderful scent of blood. His curiosity often bested him and he could not help but walk towards such an irresistible aroma. When he was within a mortals sight range he simply said, "You could always have just a nibble. You don't even need t take a pint." He couldn't help but provoke it wasn't in his nature to watch one of his kind starve themselves because of friendship. He found it amusing at times. He was thirsty himself, but he had gone a while without blood before it wasn't knew but it seemed he could never accept the weakness of him when he fasted from the substance sang, french word for blood. He liked the french word for vampire it seemed a bit more sophisticated. Sanguinarian.

Citrine heard the familiar voice hovering above her. Just to have a nibble...she giggled. A nibble. As if. Like she could control herself enough to have just a nibble.
"Girls have no will power," she said in a sarcastic tone. "Come on, haven't you seen one eat chocolate?" The shaking stopped. She wasn't quite sure if it was because of the temptation, the wind, or some unknown emotion that caused it, but it was now gone. She decided that then was the nice time to look up, and catch eye contact.
Her conscious did not lie to her. There he was: Alucard, standing above her, a sexy smirk painted upon his face. Two hungry vampires standing over a bleeding death eater. Citrine felt sudden guilt.

Alucard found the statement about chocolate rather funny. The thing is if it's funny and true it only makes it funnier. He let out a small laugh that was quickly changed back to what it was. It seemed that his emotions never looked out for long. They almost always disappeared quickly. That is when he was in the presence of others or at least people he didn't know. He looked into Citrine's eyes and saw a twinge of guilt most likely for her actions toward her friend. "You know you ought to let her just have a little. If you don't she may start attacking randomly. That won't be to good. You know by randomly i mean she may attack your people. She already said it she doesn't have the willpower. Well at least when it comes to blood and chocolate." he said to this slytherin that was bleeding.

Citrine glared at Alucard and stuck her tongue out at him. "Oh come on, don't you know about...-" Citrine stopped mid sentence. Of course he didn't know. She felt even more guilt as she realized that even CELESTE probably didn't know that she had known Kathleen before her death. It was strange that she didn't feel vengeance was in order. She had shared a suite with Kathleen over the summer, yet when she died, she didn't go looking for the Slytherin that had killed her. And here she was, in her presence, doing nothing. If there was a Heaven, would she be up there? Hating her?
If she wasn't dead, her face would have gone pale. She looked down at Celeste, hoping she hadn't figured out what had just gone through her head. She then looked back at Alucard and shrugged, trying to hide whatever this emotion was. She could already tell that it wasn't exactly the kind that shows.
"Oh come on, Alucard. Don't try to convince our poor little human to give in to...what do they call it? Peer pressure?" She put her finger to her mouth, and played her best 'stupid' face. She then giggled and looked down at the bleeding girl.
"Seriously, though. You should do something about that. In a school full of vamps, it may be considered rude walking around with open wounds, don't you think? You were involved in the attacks, weren't you, kid?"

Celestial felt a flicker of fear run through her for just a moment. Oh sh*t, she thought. She had forgotten that Citrine was a vampire. And here she was bleeding in front of her. Before she knew it Alucard had strode into sight and butting into the conversation. Oh crap... oh crap... Looking over to Citrine showed a guilty look and a side glance of hunger her way.
A nervous laugh came out of Celeste before she could stop it. "Err... I accidently got cut on a rock... During the attack..." she said slowly in answer to Faithless' question. This was part of a nightmare she was sure. Surounded by two thirsty vampires with an open wound. Maybe it was time to go...

Citrine smiled at the girl and might've winked.
"Don't worry, C. I'm a vegetarian." She said sarcastically with a laugh. "Okay, but really, I'm not going to bite you. Not today, anyway. Alucard may have a nibble, but sorry, I can't stop him. He's a bit rebellious." She said with a giggle and a side glance to the man. "Don't sweat it."

"I'm not gonna. I prefer to a challenge. Someone with no fight and knowledge of being bitin isn't any fun." he said, " You can rest assured no harm will come to you tonight. Besides i had a small drink before i came. I believe it was a bloody Ichigo on the rocks." He couldn't help but smile a little at the end. He had in fact had a glass of blood on the rocks but he just added the name in for fun.

Citrine was almost a little surprised at Alucard's lack of thirst. It was nice knowing she wasn't the only one with will power...or who wasn't constantly showing off. She turned and looked down at the girl still sitting on the ground. "There you go. You're good. Now clean up before you stain that pretty little outfit of yours."
She smiled again and turned back to Alucard. "Hm, you're not thirsty? Isn't that, like, a record or something?"

"I'm thirsty just not ravenous. Well I was almost desperate this morning so i found a donor and a blood flavored lollipop. It is totally unlike me but i didn't want to be walking around stopping at everyones cuts and such. I think it was a good idea but i have been wrong before." Alucard said moving a bit closer. The thought of blood was alluring but easily maintainable.

"Blood lollipops?" She said a little shocked. The thought was a little funny. Something they desperately needed was a flavor of candy. "I guess I need to get out more." She said with a giggle. He moved a bit closer as he spoke, the thought almost made her blush...almost. "You know, though, luckily we live in a wizarding world where blood, oddly enough, isn't exactly scarce."

"Yeah they got 'em at Honeydukes. " said Alucard, "Well it is sometimes if you go a little over board draining them. Then you get people chasing after you. It's annoying especially when you get half the force after you. Then you get the morons who talk the military into chasing you because they think they can create super soldiers." That happened once he escaped but it was was close. Thats what made him go to Europe.

"Oh I've had my share of idiot vampire hunters." She said with an eye roll. She was suddenly swept up by a cold chill. She wasn't sure if it was from the wind or the cold truth...but it hit her like ice. "I watched my parents burn because of them." She said quietly and with no expression. This was one of the few things that gave her that emotion they call grief - but she never let it show. Always stay numb, it's the way to live...or die, in her case.
