Becca moved a bit closer to the petty boy, and girl who seemed to be quite friendly. She smiled with her fangs showing-a bit shorter than they were at full darkness. She appoached them and smiled again at the girl. Becca got a bad feeling around the boy, but she knew it was just her imagination...

Citrine was surprisingly curious about what went on in this guy's mind. She had met many different kids who were constantly, for lack of a better word, "emo." This one, though, she noticed, wasn't trying so hard to make himself known, get attention. He hid himself, as she always had. She respected him for it, and almost found it attractive. Almost, she thought. Let's not go...there.
She sat down at the other end of the couch and let her head fall back against the soft edge of the couch. She then lifted her legs to cover what was left of the couch. Not only was it comfortable, but it prevented any...too close seating arrangements. You never know, perhaps the other woman in the room didn't understand the meaning of the word "awkward." Citrine smiled up at her anyways, to wipe away any guilty itch in the back of her throat.
She let her head fall back again, and without meaning to, closed her eyes slowly and softly, letting out a long, tired sigh. She wanted to cuddle up with the closest thing - or person - to her, the warmth of the house consuming her completely. It confused her, though, because she had been comforted by the cold. The cold was her friend. Death always by her side, inside of her. But now, something new, she felt warm. She could almost feel the blood flowing through her veins. The very thought of it made her giggle.
With another sigh, she wiggled into a comfortable position and smiled as she relaxed a bit more.

He jumped a little when she sat next to him. He hadn't expected her to sit next to him, but he didn't care really. He didn't care because that may scare Rebecca off a little knowing she'd have to fight both of them if she attacked. Advantage in numbers could beat strength.

Becca did not want to cause a fight so she awkwardly watched from the stairs so they could no longer see her unless they were to move the couch to a new angle and that was unlikey. She could see the two quite close together.

Rebecca was quite strange choosing to watch like a hawk from the stairs. When choosing to walk down and act like everything was normal would have at least relaxed him a little. Alucard had learned from experience never to let his guard down. He was still a little surprised at Citrine's choice to sit on the couch that he sat on. After a while of being detached from people things like that often get to you. Not in a bad way. Nobody not even a vampire can live alone. Sure they can stand it longer but without interaction people human or not tend to go a little insane. He thought for moment about the past but Alucard preferred the present. No time like it, eh. Alucard was never the trusting type but something about Citrine made him think he could lay down part of that wall he surrounded himself with. He normally kept it up. The more detached from a person the easier it is to kill them. He didn't feel like killing at the moment he normally did it when there was reason. Though sometimes you hit those times when blood is so scarce when you get a taste you get blood drunk attacking without reason.
He couldn't help but smile at her closeness. This one did not fade but wasn't to strong to begin with. It was almost hidden because it was so small and it wasn't one of those evil smiles when he felt like killing. He enjoyed it for the most part he just hated the clan up afterwards if you didn't want to get caught.
"So," he began to say. He hesitated for a moment in an awkward silence but continued, "How are you?" The question was clearly directed at Citrine. Alucard did not want anything to do with the other one. He has been known to hold grudges an awfully long time.

Citrine could always tell when the presence of another enters a room, but in this case, it had left the room. She opened her eyes and glanced into the other room. The woman was standing on the stairs, almost spying on the two. She didn't acknowledge it for more than a second, the less the better. She considered closing her eyes again, until she looked over to see yet another smile upon Alucard's face. The warmth that she felt was now growing, it was almost frightening. Such warmth was rare in a vampire.
The smile, she saw, did not fade. And then he spoke. His voice was softer than before, friendlier, maybe. As if the other girl made him rough. She liked that. She liked men who found themselves defensive, protective. She tried not to look too hard into his eyes, but it was already too late. It was a common mistake of hers, remembering to look away, and alas...too late.
How are you?
She giggled. It was a funny question, one she usually ignored. But this time, it was almost as if the question didn't even matter...just that they were speaking. What? How can that be impressive? Wow, she thought. Once someone merely speaking to you becomes strange, you really are lonely. She looked up again and smiled. It was an odd smile. The kind you get when you're trying so hard not to smile, but you just can't help it. Big...and happy.

Citrine normally such emotions as happiness lay forgotten over the years. Left behind in a series prosecutions for staying to long in one spot. People begin to notice that you stay young. Accusing you of being a witch. Alucard had been a hung a few times himself. The number of times this happened had left him with a shell filled with hate... or so he thought. It was funny.
Three emotions sprung from the heart. Love (in essence happiness), hate, and fear. Without one none can exist. With one all exist. You cannot hate some one extremely if you have not experienced that same type of love and vice versa. It is a paradox. Perhaps all the years of hate had left him unprepared for the kindness which was possible in a being. He had expected the answer to his question something along the lines of what's it to you or thats none of your business. NOt expecting an actual answer.
He turned at an angle to take another gander at Rebecca just to be sure she wasn't up to something. Returning to his original position sitting on the coach he noticed her odd smile. The smile people get when it appears to their face on its own accord. It looked as if she was trying to get rid f it but at the same time wanted it there. He tried not laugh as it probably would have been a little cruel. It was in his nature to do so, but it seemed to change today. Perhaps it was because he had infrequently ran into another of his kind, or he had finally softened. He didn't care what people thought. He personally felt it was the first thought though.

He said nothing. She wasn't necessarily surprised, just unsure what to do. She was watching him again, but this time she didn't try to hide it. Again, he looked thoughtful. She liked that. Thoughtful, a mask that so many walk around wearing. Her smile faded, she wasn't the type of person to just sit there smiling like an idiot. She decided to look up at the ceiling. It was very tall, reminded her of a scary movie. It gave her butterflies.
The woman was still on the stair. Citrine guessed it was probably a good thing she never learned her name. She'd have to address it. This way, when she sees her, they can look each other in the eye, but still do the whole you're-not-important-enough-to-acknowledge thing. She looked over at Alucard again. He seemed to be trying not to laugh. Well, apparently Citrine was funny looking. But hey, it happens. She smiled at him, this time not looking so funny trying to hide it.
"So then," she said, trying to make conversation. "Tell me something...anything."

"Well how about the fact I haven't had something to drink in a while that i am craving immensely. I'll give you a hint. I take it body temperature and it's red." Alucard said this in an almost degenerating manner. Maybe it was time or just the fact he had been able to tell a thirsty vampire when he saw one, or maybe it was both. The truth lays in the eyes. Some have called it the portal to the soul. He called it the gateway into someone's head. His glare was almost hypnotic. An honed skill that took many years to posses. He had yet to crack the mind of someone with a strong will. He hadn't the experience.
If prompted the answer to his fatal flaw he would answer people skills. A trait he lacked and often wished he had. His words spoken and could not be taken back. Yet another flaw he may act upon thought but often spoke without it. Often wishing he held his tongue.

Citrine smiled and followed it with an eye roll. "Let's see...body temperature and it's red? Wow, I'm absolutely stumped." She giggled and put her finger to her neck as if to check her pulse. She then waved her hand and shrugged in order to represent "nothing." No pulse, no heartbeat, blood thirsty. Hm, whatever could it mean?
"So what about the other chick?" She glanced to where the older woman stood on the stair. "What's with her, eh? Ex girlfriend?"

"Ex-comrade gone wrong." Alucard said getting a bit comfy on the coach himself. He couldn't shake the feeling of the others watchful eyes. It was like her purpose at the moment was to make him uncomfortable. It was working but he wouldn't give her the satisfaction. "A fight in the forest and she decides to run into the center of a werewolf pack. Stupid move considering the strength of two of them but the advantage in numbers with the four. Easily we could have takin them down with a little teamwork. We mostly hunt alone but when in danger best to hunt in groups." Alucard said. Some of which was opinion but most was fact.

"Oh right...I heard about that." Citrine didn't bother hiding an eye roll, this one serious. "Seriously, what's with the Vamps versus Werewolves thing? It's, like, never ending. And I just don't see what the big deal is. I've always just stayed out of it." She found herself pulling on a thread at the edge of the couch. She let out a tired sigh and her hand slipped, falling inches away from Alucard's resting hand.
The closeness made her heart leap. Not in excitement, but fear. Anytime she got close to anyone, she felt her heart drop, and her mouth became dry. Touching was not something she was used to, comfortable with, etc. She pulled it away quickly and slipped a knuckle in between her teeth, biting down hard. Her expression stayed the same, empty, but she still bit. It was a habit that she replaced biting her nails with long ago. She sometimes left deep red marks that lasted for days.
Hiding her bitten finger in her other palm, she glanced again at the woman - something that was now becoming a habit. "So...ever learn how to tango?" She said while still expressionless. Surprisingly, it was a serious question. The tango was always something she had wanted to learn but never got around to...
[Hahaha, sorry, Cell Block Tango started playing, and I had to say something.]

"Well, i was hunting in the forest. Then I came upon werewolves. They would have found me with their d*mn noses. To sensitive they are." Alucard said. He noticed that she was fiddling with a string. Her hand slipped and land quite close to his. She pulled her hand back quickly. So were i can hardly touch someone emotionally, she can't stand physical touch,[ he thought. Then she asked about the tango. Now Alucard was downright confused. How could someone who doesn't like to touch like the tango. He was completely stumped with this. "Well out of all the dances i've attempted to learn that would have to be the one i almost was good at but then failed miserably. I don't think i have tried that again in sometime." he said.

Citrine smiled again. Picturing him dancing the tango was some sort of satisfaction that she couldn't figure out. At first, she pictured him stumbling about, trying to count the steps, and eventually giving up. But then, she could picture him with a beautifully concentrated face, whipping his partner around perfectly, a sensual sophistication she had always longed to understand. How two could touch the way they did...and not feel a thing. Lips on another's neck, hands running down the spine...nothing underneath but numbers and steps. 1, 2, 3, 4. In her mind, she longed to be the dance partner.
She shook her head out of the shameful fantasy and looked him in the eyes. In her books, this was when the person would take in the other's characteristics. But for her, it was as if she couldn't see. Blinded by blood. Scared to face satisfaction. His eyes were hiding what was inside. She suddenly understood why people grew weary of trying to understand her. She looked into his eyes, and wanted to know everything. But he was too much like her. Emotions mean weakness. She looked down at her fingers. Scarlet teeth marks painted upon pale skin.
It had now been silent for a moment or two, and she was thinking of typical conversation starters. There was a dull ache coming from the tips of her fingers, and it made her tingle with pleasure. Masochism? Hell yes.
"Alright, then, tell me something else."

I could but i don't feel like dominating the conversation. How about you tell me something?" Alucard asked. He truly didn't want to in truth he could remain silent for a very long and at times did. Not to mention he'd like to learn a little about the person sitting so close. It's no that it was uncomfortable but a strange feel almost swept over him when she sat next to him something he hadn't felt since he was alive. He couldn't remember when. With such perfect memory he couldn't remember that. The thing that most people wouldn't ever forget. He couldn't even remember what to call it at first. Shock, fear or maybe Happiness.
