So quiet, so silent, and nobody here to bother him & that was the way Chris liked it. With his back against the stone hard wall, Christopher sat on the cold marble floor. It was quiet late, and everyone else would be in their common rooms with friends, or asleep in bed, but not Chris.
On the wall opposite Chris was a torch, keeping the gallery lit, all alone. All of the other torches had been blown out for the night. This candle had been forgotten. It was interesting to watch the flickering candle.
Usually Chris would be seen with his friend Billie, but he had snuck out without her, telling her he was going for a walk alone. Chris did feel a little guilty about this, as she was the only friend he had. Should Slytherins really feel guilty about things? Should Slytherins really care about anyone? Thoughts like this had been crossing Chris’s mind for a while now. Did Chris really and truly belong in Slytherin?

The door to the armour gallery opened slowly, and Aludra stepped her way into the room and peered around. She didn't notice Chris at all and she pranced into the gallery, admiring the armours surrounding her.
She had had a rough day and was far from tired. It may have been late, but Aludra was restless, especially at night when she seemed to be forced into sleeping. She had been looking for something to do when she had overheard somebody talking about the gallery in the commonroom. Curiousity killed her and she had finally found her way to her current destination.
"At least it's quiet," she murmured to herself, making her way down the hall.

Alana saw something glittering as she walked along the third floor, OMG she just had to stop, Alana quietly opened the door to find a gazillion pieces of armour shining brightly, it was so bright she could barley see who was infront of her.
Alana stepped in and began to walk towards the brightest shiny thing when she bumped into somebody, she put a hand over her eyes to shade them and saw it was a girl she hadnt seen before, "Hi." she muttered, "Sorry." she said tucking her hair neatly behind her ears.

Aludra took a sudden step back, trying not the show how startled she actually was. "Hi," she muttered back, feeling her face grow hot. She muffled a cough and then proceeded to glance around the room.
"It's very.... interesting."
Aludra made small attempt at making conversation. She didn't like being startled and could still feel her heart pounding from the surprise.

Scarlett entered the armor gallery, trying to find some way to avoid one of the Gryffindors. Sure, she had a lot of Gryffindor friends, but there were some that were still insufferable .. especially when they tried to stalk her. o.0
Funnily enough, she was greeted with the sight of three other Slytherins. That was quite coincidental, actually. She raised an eyebrow. "Hello, you guys," she said, her voice slightly bemused. "Fancy meeting three other Slytherins here.."

These armour suits, they don’t move do they? Chris glanced at a nearby suit with fear. Could the armour suits be like paintings? Do the suits of armour move every so often? The more he glared at the armour suits, the more he felt he could sense movement in the room.
As he moved his head franticly, he saw a student, but it was too dark to make out whom it was. Who ever it was, they didn’t seem to have noticed Chris. Wouldn’t it be fun to make them jump? ”Who is there?” Questioned Christopher, still sitting with his back propped up against the stone wall.
But Chris could hear more voices. Was it just the ghosts? Nah. As Chris listened harder, he was sure he had heard a familiar voice, a voice he did not want to hear, the voice of Alana Lestrange.
Chris wanted to run, but that would make him look weak. Surely if he was all right to her, she wouldn’t hard him, would she? Did killer death eaters have a nice side to them?
From the pocket of his trousers, Chris pulled his wand. Of course it wasn’t too attack anyone, it was just to provide light. “Lumos” He screamed, as he waved his wand, and pointed it up, his arm shaking a little.
The peace and quiet was ruined & there was no chance of silence now. Chris frowned, as he saw Alana’s face revealed by the green light, which was omitted from his wand. ”Oh hi” He uttered timidly, wishing that he had stayed back at the common room. He wanted to warn the other girl what Alana was capable of, but he couldn’t.
As Scarlet entered, Chris seemed to feel a little calmer. Alana wouldn’t attack with three people in the room, or would she? Maybe she was a changed person now, or was she?

Aludra's head whipped around at the sound of the Slytherin boy's voice, her eyes widening as she took in his presence. She hadn't noticed he was there, and once she registered the situation, Aludra became shocked into silence for a couple akward moments.
"I hadn't... expected anyone to be in here," she murmured apologetically towards the male student. Then she turned back to the other two Slytherins. Her gaze fell upon Scarlett and Aludra allowed herself to half-smile. She had met Scarlett before on an occassion, and she nodded politely before turning back to the others.
Ironically, all four students were Slytherins and Aludra felt somewhat pleased with this.
"So," she began, allowing herself to peer at the boy again. She could read his expression only as a mix of nervousness and slight fear. "It seems I'm not the only one who wanted to get away from the crowd."

Scarlett smiled at the three of them, more toward Aludra, who she knew better than the rest of them. "It was just the first open door I saw when I was running away from some third year Gryffindor," said Scarlett, shrugging as she looked around at all the trophies.
At Aludra's next attempt at small talk, Scarlett smiled again. "No, you're definitely not the only one," she agreed, walking toward the only boy in the room. "I'm Scarlett," she said to him, her way of introducing herself. When that was finished, she walked over to Alana, whom she had seen before, and repeated the gesture.
"Now that I know you all," she began, raising an eyebrow lazily, "what's up?"

Aludra made an effort to smile at the two unfimiliar Slytherins, following Scarlett's suit and introducing herself politely, first to the girl and then to the boy.
"Restlessness," Aludra replied to Scarlett with a grunt, rolling her eyes. "I can't sleep. I'm nowhere near tired."

Scarlett smiled. It seemed as though she and Aludra were going to become good friends. They got along nicely as it was.
The only person in the room who Scarlett wasn't sure she liked was Alana. Billie Joe was Scarlett's friend and she remembered Alana and Billie Joe fighting at a party once. She wasn't sure if she wanted to be friends with her, or if she even would manage to pull it off if she tried.
"Tell me about it," Scarlett agreed to Aludra, nodding. "There's no such thing as being tired here. Too much excitement going around, eh?"

"Too much excitment?" Aludra repeated. "Sometimes. But other times, there's not nearly enough." She laughed a little. "Things back at home are so chaotic all the time, being here at school and not really knowing a lot of people is kind of tough. I appreciate being by myself sometimes but after awhile I get fidgety."
Aludra went back to looking at the armours. "At least there's a lot of exploring I still need to do on long days like these."

Scarlett nodded, smiling slightly at what Aludra was saying. "Yeah, there was a bit too much excitement back at home," she said, wincing for a moment before regaining her composure. "And making friends," she added for Aludra, pointing at herself. "You've gone and made a few friends already, haven't you? Like meeee!"

Aludra turned her attention from the armours and turned to Scarlett, laughing. "I guess so," she said, smiling and feeling as if she had accomplished something. She rose her hand in the air as if to recieve and/or give a high five.

Aludra turned to the other Slytherin once she spoke. "I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name..." she murmured quietly, raising an eyebrow.
