"Me too," Emma replied. Being able to see Joe would never be a bad thing. "Don't," Emma laughed as he commented on her blushing before doing so himself. "Why are you blushing?" she asked as she looked up at him.

He grinned sheeplessly at Emma. ''Is it really that obvious?''he asked laughing nervously. ''Emma, i've been wanting to tell you this for a long long time, but willyougooutwithme?''asked Joe as he blurted out the last word.

"Just a bit," Emma laughed as she noticed how nervous he suddenly became. She felt her cheeks burn bright red as he finally asked her. "Of course I will," she said, after eventually getting over the shock. She had been waiting for this for a long time but had been beginning to think it would never come.

Joe's face nearly cracked in half with the grin that was now on his face. He wrapped his arms around her waist, he couldn't explain how happy he was. Joe leaned his head towards Emma's, he felt like he had conquered the world and solved one of his main problems. ''I was a coward before, thats why i didn't ask, i was scared''he whispered into her ear. ''So would you take the Honor of coming to the Christmas Ball with me, once its announced?''.

Emma smiled back at Joe, having never felt so happy in her life. She leant her head against his chest lightly and looked up at him. "You had no need to be," she said softly. "Of course I will," she said and grinned again.

Joe wrapped his arms around Emma a bit more, like he didn't want to let her go, and if he did everything would fall apart. ''I had no idea what your reaction would be''he muttered.

Emma smiled at Joe, feeling her heart begin to beat a little faster for no reason whatsoever. "You know me better than that," she grinned, still not believing he had been too shy to ask her out until now. She knew he was shy but not that much. Then again, there had been signs like when they met at the lake one night and he seemed embarassed everytime he said something to her. When he seemed not to want to let her go, she let herself settle against him properly, not wanting the moment to end and everything to go back to normal. She was too worried this would be just a dream.
