As he looked over from the drum-kit to Billie, Chris noticed that Billie was still shaking. He hadn't meant to scare Billie. Chris wanted to scare Leo. Billie didn't really care for him anyway. Hopefully Billie would warn Leo, making him terrified of Chris's every move. He pulled a horrid face at Billie. Chris was allowed to say what he wanted about Leo Bryant, as Chris stayed true to the Slytherin stereotypes. Leo Bryant was a GRYFFINDOR. Billie Joe was a SLYTHERIN. Chris was a SLYTHERIN.
Chris continued to play the quiet drum beat, that he had made up for the song. He wasn't sure if he would play like this at the ball, but it was always better to improvise. Drums where the easiest instrument to play. Chris had tried numerous times to play the guitar, but it was just to hard! Piano was very very difficult, as it seemed you had to do a billion things at once. When Billie started to sing & had switched to the guitar, Chris started to drum the official beat to the song. Chris had spent ages learning this beat, and he really wanted to show what he had learned.
Whilst Chris played he thought of what he was going to do to Leo. Should he duel him? Slytherins where waaaaaaay tougher than Gryffindors. Chris had a violent style of drumming, more so when he was mad. Each time he hit the drum, Chris imagined he was hitting Leo & and not drum skins. There was only one more paragraph last. Chris couldn't mess up on the last paragraph. He was doing so well!

[green]What was Chris' problem? He acted as if he was...Jelous? Nah, Chris was too cold-hearted to feel jelousy. She relaxed a little as Chris returned to the proper drumming to the last waltz. She'd done alot to get Sunburn on the playlist and so she wasn't going to have them perform cappy on stage in front of the whole school!
"Praise the wine So divine and it stings like a rose Allow the night to flow inside open the window and let the wind blow Highlight of the night is the unhappy ending You keep refusing to answer my calls Drop the bending and stop the pretending You say get ready for the last waltz" She continued, "Another you and me Another revolutionary heavenly romance waiting for the last waltz And so it seems We won't find the solution confusion leads the dance We're waiting for the last waltz" "I believe that no one this world has the anwers for me But still I hope that someone has heard " She stepped back and played her guitar in the instrumental, changing wher her fingers were alot, still making it sound slow dispite how fast her hands wre moving. She was fixiated on the guitar strings, making sure she made no mistakes because that just wouldn't do.[/green]

There was nothing wrong with Chris. What was wrong with being disappointed? What was wrong with guarding the pride of Slytherin? When this rumor got out, Billie was going to be in biiig trouble. If it where anyone else Chris would gladly spread the gossip, but Chris loved and cared for Billie. Just because Billie did this, didn't mean his feelings changed in a few moments. Billie and Chris had known each other for ages. Had Leo and Billie been attacked with unforgivable curses by Alana? Had Leo played on the same Quidditch team as Billie? Was Leo in the same house as Billie? No, but Chris had and was. Chris had done through everything with Billie. Chris wasn't cold hearted. Leo didn't deserve to be with Leo, not after everything Chris and Billie had been through together.
Angrily Chris continued drumming along to the song. His thoughts kept drifting to what he was going to do with Leo. Should he really bother? nah. Chris couldn't sit and do nothing to that little thieving rat. As it came to the instrumental solo, Chris continued to drum moodily along at the correct tempo. While Billie stopped her dreadful singing Chris could concentrate more on everything. Who on earth was he going to go to the ball with now? What happened if he was forced to go with Alana? Chris wouldn't be able to face the shame of being dragged around with a horrid little death eater. He would rather go to the ball with Leo, or a rock.

Billlie Joe scowled and ignored Chris. When this practice was done she'd talk to him and hopefully get some answers out of him. If not then she'd use the hard way which was brutal force. She feared for Leo though, she'd have to warn him that Chris was being pissy and being a total brat. She hated how Slytherins got stereotyped, and Chris was doing nothing to help that.
Her heart jolted as she made a tiny and bearably noticable mistake. But if you had such an ear for music as her then it was extremly noticable. She carried on playing, that was what you had to do. If you made a mistake then you just had to continue to play. As she exited form the instrumental she got closer to the mic again. "Ohhh! You and me Another revolutionary heavenly romance Waiting for the last waltz and so it seems we won't find a solution confusion leads the dance waiting for the last...Waltz..." She closed her eys as she sung the last line. She guitar faded out as she stopped playing it and then quickly spun it on its strap so it was behind her, she started to play the piano once again, the song only had another 20 seconds left. She still couldn't believe that she made that one mistake! Once everyone had gone from her room last night, and Leo had asked her to the prom, she spent the rest of the night practicing! Of course she was made to practice without the amp.

Billie was such a cow! Didn't she realize how much Chris really did care for her? He still hadn't gotten over than brutal fight with Alana. He would still have nightmares of being attacked by Alana. He remembered the pain of the Crucio curse, all because he was sticking up for Billie. Chris had been through everything with Billie, Leo hadn't. Chris knew that Billie wasn't dumb, but why was she acting so foolishly? Gryffindors where always sly gits. All Gryffindors cared for where themselves. Slytherin was and always had been the toughest house, but Billie was jeopardizing that.
Chris didn't notice Billie's slight mistake. Unfortunately Chris couldn't play guitar, and she he didn't notice any mistakes. He was a pure drummer. He had always dreamed of Billie teaching him guitar, but that dream was ruined now, again no thanks to Leo. Chris's eyes followed Billie as she moved to the piano. When the song had finally finished Chris threw his drumsticks in the air, making them thud onto the floor like hail stones. At once Chris leaped from the drum stool, pushing the drum kit over again. "That song was dedicated to my hate for Leo" Screamed Chris at the top of his voice. If Leo walked into this room now, Chris was ready.

[green]Matt just shut up and started to play, he enjoyed Billie's singing voice. When she wasn't singing then it was annoying. He hpoed that Chris would calm down now but he obviously hadn't. And to tell you the truth, Matt felt sorry for whatever Chris was going to do with Leo. His hands continuously moved as he plucked as oneof the four stings and his upper hand moved alot.
He ignored all of Billie Joe's comments, all of Chris' comments and just played. He noticed the mistake that Billie made, but it wasn't noticable much. Hcris made a few ig mistakes. "Christina, pay attention!" He snapped in the instrumental. When the song was finished he heard Chris' words, he winced. Billie was not going to be happy.[/green]

[green]Billie Joe sighed and ran her fingers through her hair in annoyance. She turned to Matt, "You made a mistake near the end, it wasn't a big one but we can't have it on the performance. Chris, you need to work on your drumming badly. You hit the bass drum when you weren't meant to and you haven't even got the snare drum right! It shouldn't be making that tinny sound, I've taught you what the lever thing on the side does."
She threw her plectrum against the wall and took a seat. She froze as soon as Chris said those words. "What did you say?" She hissed. Clentching her fists. Chris never had a problem with Leo at first. She certainly hadn't, she may have been seen as his rival but that's only in quidditch.[/green]
