Hey, Avian, I am a HUGE theatre nerd too !
I'm a singer. I take two different singing courses, I've done plays, and I do singing performances and shows every few months. Actually, I just had one last night.
Anyway, have you ever seen Phantom of the Opera? My favorite muiscal, ever. Love the movie .. dying to see the theatre production of it. I'd do ANYTHING to see that ! And I'm seeing Wicked this summer. I'm excited! I also like RENT, which I want to see live, and I've seen both the Sound of Music movie and I've seen in done in theatre. It was so awesome. I also like the Disney musicals, those have beautiful songs. Grease is another good one - I've done that play twice. I've also done Little Red Riding Hood, A Christmas Carol, and Peanuts. ^__^
Anyway, yeah. I like Phantom. Even though I'm only 14, I can hit all of Christine's notes. ^__^
& my name's Laura. Just so you know.
Sorry, I had to respond to your post about theatre & musicals. <3

Oh my, I'm so jealous of you, hehe. 14 and you can hit all of those notes?!?! Suuuuper jealous. I wanna be a singer, hehe. Anyways, yes, nice to meet you, Laura! I love having other theatre nerds around, lol, someone to understand me! I totally forgot Rent... I'm ridiculously addicted to that one too. I wanted to see it here a few months ago but the thing sold out in days it seemed like, hehe. Phantom looks spectacular, though I've never seen it on stage! It must be amazing on the stage though, I'd love to see it too. But Rent... Lord, I practically live that musical, no wonder I didn't remember it, hehe. I went to NYC with some friends a week or so ago, with fellow Rentheads... yeah, we can't sing, but we sure had fun, hehe. Sadly, they refused to dance on the subway with me... Hehehe. Anyway, again... thanks for posting!! I love it when I'm not weird, haha. Hello Unimportant, my name is Zac. Hello, Zac, it's nice to meet you.

Hahaha.
I know, it's crazy. I can't believe I can hit all of those .. I'm a soprano, completely. xD In fact, in my next show (or one of the next few), I'm doing a duet with some guy twice my age, and we're going to be singing All I Ask of You. We practiced it tonight at class, and it was soo fun. I can't wait. In August, we're doing Point of No Return at the county fair. I'm SO EXCITED ! x]
Yes, Rent .. omg. It was sold out before I even knew it was playing around here, and I was so sad. I'd kill to see it on stage! UGH. (And Phantom, of course). I swear, next time it's out, I'm SO there.
OMGDNFJDNF you went to New York? Lucky. I'm in California and I've left the state / country a few times, but never to New York. My vocal ensemble class at school (the second singing course I take) was SUPPOSED to compete in New York this spring, but we didn't go, so we're going to go somewhere else next year. NY or London or something, I'm not sure. ^__^

OOOOOOOO The jealousy, hehe. I'm an ALTO, so that says a freakin' lot, lol. How exciting to be performing at the fair! This sounds like fun, I hope it all turns out as marvelous as it sounds. Yessss, I hate how things just go Poof! like that, lol. I live between two cities that always have some broadway show playing, and still I've never managed to actually go see one. Tsk tsk tsk. Not cool. Hehe, yeah, New York. I live in New York so my school goes a few times a year. Like, you pay them some money to cover bus fare and food and we drive from 11pm to 6am, shop and hang out all day, and then come back later that night. It's a pretty sweet deal, but I'd like to visit for longer. Competing in NYC or London though? Whoosh, you guys must be really good! What sort of competition is it? My drama class is going to Ireland next year for some sort of competition but I'll be graduated so no trip for moi. Did you guys have to compete to qualify to go on the trip?

Omg. LUCKY. I live in the middle of nowhere, as far as broadways are concerned. I've seen one live broadway play .. but then again, I'm about an hour away from L.A. and Hollywood, so I guess that's a good thing compared to some people who have to travel from all over. Still, I wish my school would take us to go see shows and stuff. UGHHGHHGHG lucky !!
When I go to college [I'm a freshman, so it's still awhile off], I plan on going to Cal Lutheran (California State University, Lutheran), which is in Thousand Oaks, so it's not too far, and it specializes in liberal arts and performing and theatre and everything. ^__^
Lucky, my drama classes don't compete anywhere, but I guess that's because we mainly stick to doing plays and everything. My vocal ensemble class doesn't have to compete to go to New York, we just have to raise up the money. It's almost 700 dollars per student. We didn't have enough people able to afford it this year. Last year, though, when we went, we won GOLD !! :] Too bad I was still in 8th grade then. >.< But like, we perform and compete in other places too during the school year. We had two performances since March and we're having two more in May, so yeah.
Being a soprano is fun. It makes me feel special being able to hit the high notes. ^__^

Introduction Thread? That's pretty cool.
Ok, well, my name is Alice.....and I have a boring life! He he. Well, I thing I do anyway. I really like sports, soccer being my favorite. I played last year on my school's team and it was quite fun. We won a trophy. Yay!
I also LOVE Blink 182, Sum 41 and The all American Rejects. Green Day is alright too, but not my favorite.
I also really like computer stuff. But I'm not a nerd! Really, I'm not. I just find it fascinating even though I don't understand most of it.
So ya...that's all I can think of about me.

Avian ! I LOVE Les Miserables! I've seen it in West End last summer, and I adored it! There were even rumours a Dutch musicalstar was going to play Marius there, but that didn't come true, something with his contract... Anyhoo, have you read the book?

Read the book? *hides, lol* Started to a long time ago, but I never finished it, hehe. I dunno if you speak French, but you should try listening to the French version from Paris, 1998 or something like that. It's much better than any of the English casts I've heard, and if you understand the lyrics they're a lot more poetic in a lot of ways, at least to me, lol. Anyway, I envy you for seeing it in the West End, grrrr. I've never seen a "real" money-making production, lol. Darn you. And Scarlett -- ruuub it in, hehehe, rub it in. That's a pretty expensive trip, whoosh, but it sounds nice compared to the silly 3,000 bucks it's going to cost my school to go to Ireland. They'll be there for three weeks, but that's still way too much money for me. Have you been in any plays?

Hehe.. Yeah, I speak some Freanch, but it all drifted away after finishing French... And West End ROCKS!
As for plays, yeah... This year is my sixth real musical. Well, school musical... I was orchestra in my first one, Anybodys in WSS, Bill Sykes in Oliver!, a nobody in Fame, A drug dealing hippy in Carmen, and this year we're playing Chicago, and I'm playing Mary Sunshine! Oooh! I got her pictured like a Rita Skeeter/Mary Sunshine in the movie crossover. Lovely!

But school plays are GREAT! I ♥ plays!
I saw The Wiz some weeks ago, and it wasn't all that great, in my humble opinion. Sure, it was funny, but the singing... I had my doubts.

Hi my name is Meghan, I LOVE to read, draw, sing, swim and play the piano. I LIKE the color turquoise, turtles, oceans, getting mail, the play Mamma Mia, my family, Harry Potter, computer, oldies music, good food, and crafts. My hair is more than 2 feet long, and it's brown and slightly high-lighted honey color. I would love to flirt, but I can't!!!! I'm from Minnesota, and usually like school. I share a site with my bro and writing a book with him. (at least trying)

Introductions huh?
Well I am Eric, I am 22 years old (I know, I know, Im an old man), and I am from Maine. Right now I live in Virginia though, as I am in the Navy. Yes, indeed. Just got back from an eight month deployment, and looking to get back into the RP world. I have been RPing for about 21/2 years, having some highly successful storylines on the site Magikal World, including Wolfsbane and Hells, and The Forgotten Love with Isis Wood. They still have them posted up there on the site, and sometimes I will go back and read them. I don't know, I just miss those days. However, I am here now, and looking to be even better here. Music wise I like pretty much everything, and reading your conversation here, I just wanna say that I think Rent and Moulin Rouge are the best movie musicals ever! What else? I am a total nerd, and believe that Harry Potter is the lifeblood that keeps man going. Finally, I am the biggest movie buff in the world. I own about 500 movies already, and the collection only gets bigger, so if anyone would ever like to have a movie trivia throwdown...........................BRING IT ON!!!!!
