We're back and this time for good! I wasn't able to come on much before, as i had a lot of exams, and i couldn't do both, but now all of my exams are over & i have time to spend on the site. As you can see we have a brand new skin. Thank you to our scary vampire admin Billie Joe for taking the photos of her harry Potter books and creating the banner from them.

Hello & welcome to Infamous Hogwarts. On all websites rules play an important part in everything. Rules prevent arguments, stop people feeling offended and keeps things running smoothly. It is important that you abide by the rules of Infamous Hogwarts. People who fail to live by the rules will receive the correct punishment for their actions.
Proboards TOS When creating an account with Infamous Hogwarts, you agreed to abiding by the Proboards Terms of Service. You can find the Proboards Terms Of Service HERE. Anyone who does not abide by the Proboards Terms Of Service will be banned immediately.
This proboards TOS says;
You must be 13 years or over on the day you create an Infamous Hogwarts account. All of your posts MUST be in English. This rule also means that you cannot link to sites that are not in English! Posts cannot contain anything mentioning; the use of illegal drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, nudity, or any other form of adult content, profanity, hate, "spam," fraud, racism, mlm, pyramid schemes, or promote any illegal activity. Your posts must abide by any and all applicable laws of the State of California and the US Federal Government.
Swearing / Cussing/ Usage of Bad languages. We are not trying to limit your creativity, however, due to excessive usage of foul language, we have to enforce the rules. The usage of foul languages MUST be kept to a minimal level. From now on anyone that is found using bad language will receive a warning.
Differentiating IC and OOC. It is common sense, IC & OOC should not be mixed, whatever said in RP, no matter how offending it is, should stay in the RP. Do not take whatever said in RP seriously and start to harass anyone. Any member who felt that they have been harass, PM the admins directly. Those who are involve in the so-call drama that's not designed in RP will be punish severely.
Extra Characters There is currently no limit on how many characters we allow, but we ask that you please try your best to keep all of your characters active. We suggest that you have one or two characters, which you can easily keep active. Many people have been creating far too many characters and getting bored of them easily. If you do not want a character any more then please delete it. This means that we do not have hundreds of inactive members.
Killing Characters & Pregnancies If you wish to kill off a character, then you must get permission from the character and Headmistress Danger. This is so that people do not go around killing other peoples characters for the fun of it.
The same thing goes for if you want your character to become pregnant. You must ask Headmistress Dagner! If you are a student character it is highly unlikely that you will be accepted.
Keeping in character The point in role playing is to step into the shoes of another character. When you create your character make your you know you are going to be happy with its age. Once your character is made please act your characters age. I do not want to see first years creating spells that would be done by a 7th year. It's also very annoying when people create super perfect characters. Everyone has flaws, and thats the fun of role-playing. The ages for characters are First Year – 11/12 Second Year –12/13 Third Year – 13/14 Fourth Year – 14/15 Fifth Year – 15/16 Sixth Year – 16/17 Seventh Year – 17/18 Eighth Year* - 18/19 Ninth Year* - 19/20
* Only members who have completed their 7th year may choose for their character to be in eighth year.
Signature Sizes Please keep your signatures at an acceptable size. It can be very annoying when your page is stretched, due to an overlarge signature. This also keeps loading easier for people who use dial up Internet.
Hotlinking Hotlinking is when you use someone else's host to host your images without their permission. If i find anyone hotlinking they will be warned and told to take the image down. There are many free image hosts on the Internet including http://tinypic.com/ (no sign up required) , http://www.imageshack.us/ (no sign up required), http://photobucket.com/ and many more.
Magical Creatures We are no longer accepting any more magical creatures (werewolves, vampires, etc..), as there are so many on the site already. Please do not PM the Headmistress asking to be one or go around being a magical creature. This also means that current werewolves, vampires etc.. cannot bite anyone else.

I take it you have never read the Proboards TOS?
Read it and learn. Or perhaps think sensibly. Proboards are for everyone, and would you be posting in for instance Japanese, the site would not be accesible for everyone. It's called keeping others in mind when doing something!
Plus, would Proboards find out, they would give the owner of the site, in this case IH, a hard time.
Next time you should perhaps think before you act [or post]

Hey, don't trash his idea like that. Personally I believe it was a pretty awesome idea, but I have explained about that situation. Maybe it's just the way I'm reading your post but that was extremely rude and uncalled for. All he was simply asking was about using different languages in designated areas, no need to jump his case like that. Also, if you want to do the "including everyone" why then do we have houses and clubs that require passwords. It's the same case here. If we were to be allowed by proboards to have different languages on the site it could simple be a thread for those people able to speak that language. Being able to share culture and language is good for everyone so, please exercise some more patience.
